Aunt Phyllis gave me this recipe and said it is alway a hit when she makes it. I have to get her involved in this website!

Number Of Ingredients 13

1/4 lb margarine
1 onion, minced
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
4 (6 1/2 ounce) cans minced clams, reserving juice
1 cup clam juice, use reserved and add more if needed for a total of 1 cup
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pinch parsley flakes
1 dash Tabasco sauce
8 ounces seasoned stuffing mix, Pepperidge Farm is good
parmesan cheese, for the top

Steps:

  • Saute first 4 ingredients in a large skillet, simmering for a few minutes.
  • Combine and add the next 7 ingredients and then add the stuffing slowly until you have an oatmeal consistency.
  • Place in a casserole dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 325 degrees F. for 20-30 minutes.

1 stick butter
1/2 cup flour (or more if needed to thicken to consistency of heavy cream)
1 bottle (8 oz.) chili sauce
3 cans chopped clams with juice
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 package wide noodles
Kraft Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Make a white sauce from the flour and butter in a medium high stove top pot. Add chili sauce, clam juice and onions. Stir and thicken as necessary.
  • Boil noodles in large pot with salt. Drain and rinse. Mix together noodles and sauce into large casserole dish. Spring with Kraft Parmesan Cheese and dollops of butter.
  • Bake at 350°F for 1/2 to 3/4 hour, until top is crispy.

1 egg, well beaten

1 (6 1/2 ounce) can minced clams
breadcrumbs, enough to soak up clam juice
3/4 cup parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Combine the zucchini, egg, clams, bread crumbs, and seasonings together.
  • Bake in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole at 350 degrees F. until browned, about 25 minutes.

Aquired from my husbands Aunt Phyllis. Every holiday this is the dish that she brings and I love it. I have made it since for potlucks at work and bring home an empty dish.
