Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine fruits; set aside. Whisk sauce ingredients until smooth. Gently fold into fruits. Cover and chill for 3-4 hours before serving.

MY AUNT'S FESTIVE SALAD

Yield Makes 20 servings, 1/2 cup each.

Steps:
- Cook sesame seed in small skillet on medium heat 3 min. or until lightly toasted, stirring constantly. Add granulated sugar; cook and stir 2 min. until sugar is caramelized and evenly coats sesame seed. Remove from heat; spread onto sheet of foil sprayed with cooking spray. Cool completely. Crumble into smaller pieces.
- Mix sour cream, powdered sugar and dressing in large bowl until well blended. Add apples, bananas, nuts and half the sesame seed; mix lightly.
- Top with cranberries, mint and remaining sesame seed.

AUNT DEBBY'S RED JELLO SALAD
My husband's Aunt Debby makes this for all our holiday gatherings. We all love it.

Steps:
- 1. Dissolve raspberry Jello in 1 cup boiling water.
- 2. Add pie filling. Pour into 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
- 3. Dissolve lemon Jello in 1 cup boiling water.
- 4. Add pineapple to lemon Jello.
- 5. Beat cream cheese and Mayonnaise together. Fold in whipped cream.
- 6. Add cream cheese mixture to lemon Jello.
- 7. Layer this mixture on top of the raspberry Jello mixture.
- 8. Chill and serve.
AUNT PAULINE'S FRUIT SALAD
I guess this is an ambrosia salad, we just always called it fruit salad. One of our family favorites. You can also add coconut (1/4 cup) if you like. If you have time, prepare this the day before and refrigerate. About 1 hour before serving, remove from refrigerator and let sit to come to room temperature. Stir to remix and serve. Prep time is cooking time.

- Drain the juice from all the fruits; discard, or use for something else.
- Put sour cream in bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients in the following order, stirring to blend after each ingredient is added - pineapple, marshmallows, nuts, mandarin oranges, cherries. Add coconut last.
- NOTE: Stir the mandarin oranges and maraschino cherries carefully, as they have a tendency to tear apart if mixed too hard.

Wonderful salad with a delicious orange juice/pudding dressing! My SIL's recipe, but I'm not sure where she got it. I've not seen anything like it here on "zaar. For a thinner dressing you may add more milk, but add small amount at a time.

AUNT M FRUIT SALAD
This is the best fruit salad I've ever seen and with no sour cream. This recipe came from my sister in laws, mother in laws aunt. Confused yet. My toddler just loves this dish. I just use the small box of vanilla pudding. I had to put an amount of ounces on the fruit, just use 3 average cans of fruit.

AUNT SHIRLEY'S "TROPIC-TANG" FRUIT SALAD
This is a unique Fruit Salad that is wonderful to have during the summer. (Although, I also find myself craving this during the winter months too!) I always have requests to bring this to family functions and never have any left over. As a result, I always double this recipe when preparing it for family gatherings.

Steps:
- Mix together Pineapple Chunks (with juice), Tang, and Instant Vanilla Pudding until incorporated.
- Drain juice from canned Tropical Fruit and add fruit to Pineapple mixture.
- Cool mixture until ready to serve (juice will thicken.).
- Slice bananas (just before serving) and mix ingredients together.
- Serve from bowl or from individual champagne glasses with a sprig of mint for decoration.
- NOTE: Best when kept cool or served immediately.
