Steps:
- In a bowl, mix the cornstarch with the salt and white pepper. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Dredge the chicken pieces in the cornstarch mixture and shake off any excess. Set aside.
- Heat the oil in a wok (it's also possible to make this recipe with a simple skillet if you don't have one). Add the chicken pieces and shallow fry them for 3-4 minutes or until golden and cooked through. If all the chicken doesn't fit in a single layer, work in batches. When done, remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel.
- Clean the wok using a paper towel. Add some oil and stir-fry the garlic and scallions for 1-2 minutes. Add the rice wine, soy sauce, sugar, and a pinch of white pepper. Heat through and return the chicken pieces back into the pan. Mix them into the sauce.
- Serve over the rice or it's also great as a finger food. Enjoy!

ASIAN HONEY CHICKEN
This is a tasty stir fry recipe that my family really enjoyed. They loved the bit of sweetness that the honey brings out in this dish. When I make this again, I will add more veggies than the recipe calls for, I think it lacked in the veggie department, but other than that, it was really good. Time includes marinating.

- De-bone the chicken legs and marinade with all the seasonings from the light soy sauce to coarse black pepper for at least 30 minutes. I would recommend you marinade overnight if you can as everything will taste much better.
- Follow the instructions on the packaging of the quinoa. I rinsed the quinoa under cold water a few times to wash away the bitterness of the quinoa.
- I soaked the quinoa in cold water for five minutes and drained the water completely. Put boiling water and quinoa in a saucepan and bring it to a boil first. Then turn to lowest heat, simmer and cover the quinoa until the water is nearly dry and the quinoa is tender. Then it’s ready (this will take around 15-20 minutes).
