SLOW-COOKER APPLE PIE MOONSHINE
A delicious apple cider base is slow-cooked for a delicious twist on your typical moonshine. Be warned: this is deliciously STRONG.

Steps:
- Set slow cooker to HIGH for 4 hours. Add apple cider, apple juice, sliced apples, lemon, cinnamon sticks and sugars. Cook, stirring frequently. This will be the base of the moonshine. Once cooked, strain out apples and lemon slices.
- In a pint sized mason jar, add 1 cinnamon stick, 1/2 cup everclear and 1/2 cup vodka. Ladle strained moonshine base over alcohol, until almost the top of a jar. Use mason jar lid (I like the reusable ones!) to seal. Repeat until alcohol is gone (about 8-10 pints).
- Store moonshine in a cool, dark place for 30 days to finish. (Good luck waiting that long!). This will be good for up to a year!
- To serve: pour over ice or add lemon-lime pop for a cocktail.

Steps:
- Add Apple Cider and Cinnamon Sticks to crock-pot. Cook on low for 8 hours. Turn off crock-pot and allow the cider to cool to room temp. In a large pan (large enough for a 5 quarts), mix cider and the Everclear Alcohol. If your crock-pot is large enough for this, you can do it there once the cider is cooled. Pour into 5 Quart Canning Jars (or bottles of your choice) and put lids and rings on. Let the jars sit in a cool dark place for 30 days to allow the alcohol to take the flavor of the cider. This is shelf stable and can be kept on the counter, or if you prefer it chilled, in the refrigerator. NOTE: this is a strong adult beverage. Serving size is one shot glass.
