3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
2/3 cup Baker's Corner Brown Sugar
2/3 cup Simply Nature Organic Cane Sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 large eggs, room temperature
2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Stonemill Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Stonemill Nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon Stonemill Ground Ginger
1 cup Nature's Nectar Apple Cider
2/3 cup applesauce
4 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
½ cup Simply Nature Organic Cane Sugar
2 teaspoons Stonemill Cinnamon
Pinch of salt

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously grease a standard size bundt pan.
  • Place the softened butter, Baker's Corner Brown Sugar and Simply Nature Organic Cane Sugar In a stand mixer fit with the whisk attachment. Beat on high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  • Scrape down the bowl and add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well between each addition.
  • In a separate bowl combine the applesauce and apple cider, mixing to combine. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and Stonemill spices.
  • Alternate adding the dry ingredients and the apple cider mixture to the butter mixture in 3 additions, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. The batter will be thick. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it in an even layer. Bake at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes or until it springs back to the touch and a knife inserted into the middle comes out mostly clean.
  • Allow the bundt cake to cool for 20 minutes before turning it out of the pan onto a wire rack.
  • While the cake cools, mix together the cane sugar, cinnamon and salt. Brush the cooled cake with the melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar to coat the outside. Enjoy warm!

1 15.25 ounce box Yellow cake mix (I used Betty Crocker Yellow Super Moist)
3/4 cup apple cider (NOT apple juice)
1/4 cup water (Room Temperature. Note: If you want a stronger apple cider taste, omit the water and use one full cup of apple cider)
½ cup apple sauce (we used cinnamon apple sauce, not chunky)
3 large eggs (room temperature)
¼ tsp cinnamon (more if you like it really cinnamony! )
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tablespoons cinnamon (depending on how much cinnamon you prefer)
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup melted butter
1 cup powdered sugar
¼ cup apple cider

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the dry cake mix, apple cider, apple sauce, water, and eggs. Add in the cinnnamon (¼ tsp,) brown sugar and vanilla to the cake mix batter. (See "recipe options" in notes)
  • Pour mix into a well greased & floured bundt pan (we used Baker's Joy. This has flour in it to make sure it doesn't stick.)
  • Place bundt pan on center rack and bake for 40-45 minutes. Test with a toothpick by sticking into the middle of the cake, if it comes out clean it is ready. Remove from heat and allow to cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes.

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup apple cider
1/3 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons canola oil

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven 400 deg.
  • Coat molds with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, blend together first 5 ingredients.
  • In another bowl, combine remaining ingredients and add dry ingredients. Stir until just blended.

2 cups (16floz/480ml) apple cider
½ cup (4floz/120ml) whole milk ((cold))
¾ cup (6oz/170g) granulated sugar
⅔ cup (4oz/115g) dark brown sugar
3 large eggs ((at room temperature))
¼ cup (2floz/60ml) vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ½ cups (12½oz/355g) all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Cinnamon sugar ((for topping))

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and butter and flour a 12-cup capacity (2.84 liters) bundt cake pan. Set aside.
  • Pour the apple cider into a shallow saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat until the cider is reduced to 1 cup (8floz/240ml).
  • Transfer the reduced cider to a glass measuring cup with a pour spout and add the cold milk. Set aside until the mixture has cooled to room temperature.
  • Once the cider mixture has cooled, make your batter: with a mixer or in a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Pour in the cider mixture and whisk until combined.
  • In a separate medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg, and then add this to the wet ingredients in three increments. Stop stirring just as soon as everything is fully mixed.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the dry cake mix, apple cider, applesauce, eggs, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat together for 2 minutes.

  • For the apple cider glaze, whisk the apple cider and powdered sugar together. Drizzle over the cake.
