Baby greens are served with juicy orange slices and pomegranate seeds.

Ingredients

⅓ cup olive oil
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1 pinch dried sage, or to taste
1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
1 tablespoon orange juice, or to taste
1 (10 ounce) package mixed baby salad greens
1 pomegranate, peeled and seeds separated
1 orange, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces

Steps:

In a large salad bowl, whisk together the olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, black pepper, sage, cayenne pepper, and orange juice.
Place the baby salad greens into the salad bowl and lightly toss to coat with dressing.
Sprinkle salad with pomegranate seeds and orange pieces.
Toss again and serve.

Here is a simple drink that I presume is just a bit sweet because of the pineapple juice. If you want it more sweet, maybe add a little bit of maraschino cherry juice in it. And also I would shake it.

1 1/2 ounces brandy
5 ounces pineapple juice
2 maraschino cherries
2 thin orange slices

Steps:

Combine ice cubes, brandy and pineapple juice and stir.
Garnish with cherry and orange slice.
Serve in 2 martini glasses.
