4TH OF JULY MERINGUE COOKIES

Steps:

• In mixing bowl (that is completely clean and DRY), beat egg white until foamy (about 30 seconds). Add vinegar and corn starch and continue to beat for another minute until soft peaks form.
• In a slow stream, add sugar. Beat for about 4-5 minutes until stiff peaks form.
• Divide mixture into thirds. Beat in red Jello to one third, blue jello to second, and lemon extract to third.
• Fill pastry bags with meringue (one color in each bag) and pipe using a star tip.
• Place baking sheets in 200 degree oven for 90 minutes. Turn oven off and leave meringues in oven for 6 hours, or overnight, to harden.
• I usually make these in the evening after dinner, and leave in overnight. Package in airtight container (or Ziploc).

4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS COOKIES RECIPE

Steps:

• Mix together the dry cake mix, butter, cream cheese, egg, and vanilla until soft dough forms.
• Stir in the cookie chunks, 1/2 cup M&M's, and 1/4 cup of the sprinkles gently.
• Refrigerate the dough for 30 - 60 minutes.
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Roll into 24 even dough balls. Press the remaining M&M's into the tops of the dough balls. Add extra sprinkles to the tops of the the dough balls, if desired.
• Place the dough balls on cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes.
• Remove from the oven and cool on the cookie sheets for 2 minutes, before moving them to a piece of parchment paper on the counter.
• Let the cookies cool completely so they set up, then store in a tightly sealed container.

GRACE'S OTHER 4TH OF JULY COOKIES

Steps:

• ON WAX PAPER SPREAD SOME FLOUR . ROLL OUT COOKIE DOUGH. CUT WITH ROUND COOKIE CUTTER/BISCUIT CUTTER. IF U DON'T HAVE ONE U MAY USE A ROUND CUP TO CUT OUT COOKIES.
• PLACE PARCHMENT PAPER ON COOKIE SHEET OR SPRAY WITH PAM. PLACE IN OVEN FOR ABOUT 10-12 MINS TIL DONE. PLACE ON COOLING RACK.
• FROST LITELY WITH WHITE FROSTING. TAKE BLUE AND RED FOOD COLORING PENS. AND ALTERNATE RED STRIPE, BLUE STRIPE. TIL COOKIE IS DECORATED. PLACE ON PLATE TIL READY TO SERVE. I SOMETIMES PUT THEM IN THE FRIDGE. FROSTING ECT.... SETS WELL THEN. SO WHEN U TAKE THEM OUT TO SERVE THEY DON'T RUN COS ITS WARM OUT SIDE. IF U SERVE THEM OUTSIDE.

ANOTHER 1 OF GRACE'S 4TH OF JULY COOKIES

Steps:

• ROLL OUT COOKIE DOUGH ON FLOURED SERFACE. CUT OUT ROUND COOKIES WITH ROUND COOKIE CUTTER OR JUICE GLASS
• BAKE IN PRE-HEATED OVEN 350 FOR 10-12 MINUTES. LET COOL. THEN FROST LITELY WITH WHITE FROSTING. MAKE SURE ITS EVEN
• THEN TAKE BLUE PEN AND MAKE A SQAURE IN 1 CORNER OF COOKIES. THEN TAKE RED PEN AND MAKE RED STRIPES FROM THE BLUE LINE TO END OF COOKIE.
• THEN TAKE BLUE PEN AND MAKE TINY CICLES IN THE CORNER OF COOKIES LEAVING SOME WHITE FOR THE STARS. AND SERVE.

Steps:

• make cake according 2 directions. line cup cake pan with c.c. papers. pour 2/3 up in c.c.papers. bake in oven 15 mins or until tooth pick comes out clean let cool.
• frost with white frosting. not real thick.
• sprinkle with blue colored sugar. simple huh? thats it.
