When I was first introduced to this drink. I thought it sounded Bizarre... but then I tasted it and it really works! Creamy! Try it, you'll be surprised too! I use Coke Zero Cheers!

2 ounces Amarula cream liqueur
4 ounces milk
4 ounces Coke

Steps:

Shake the Amarula and milk with ice and strain into a highball glass.
Add cola and stir gently.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon gelatin powder
3 teaspoons caster sugar
150 ml fresh cream
1/3 cup Amarula cream liqueur
50 g grated chocolate, best quality 70% will work best
1 teaspoon gelatin powder
3 teaspoons caster sugar
150 ml fresh cream
1/3 cup Amarula cream liqueur
1 tablespoon runny honey
1/2 cup almonds, chopped toasted
chocolate curls (to garnish) or chopped nuts (to garnish)

Steps:

Using 6-8 Champagne flutes make the following:.
Mix together the gelatin and castor sugar and place to one side.
Heat the cream and Amarula gently, do not boil, remove from the stove and stir in the gelatin mixture, keep stirring until the gelatin has dissolved, add the chocolate and stir till melted.
Pour the mixture into a jug and pour into the glasses.
Place the glasses into the fridge to set.
Now make the top layer.
Using the toplayer ingredients, mix together the gelatin and castor sugar and place to one side.
Heat the cream and Amarula gently, do not boil, remove from the stove and stir in the gelatin mixture, keep stirring until the gelatin has dissolved, and stir in the honey and nuts.
Pour the mixture into a jug and gently pour over the chocolate base, return to the fridge and set till needed.
Remove about 5 minutes before serving top with garnish and serve.
To garnish: Caramelised orange peel and almonds, shavings of dark chocolate or even chopped preserved ginger and nuts.

Shots: The alcohol is not a problem. The problem is the inappropriate quantity. Amarula is sipped at by the fanciest Cape Townians in the Winelands. They are better than this.
Shots: The guy across the table loves the stuff. He’s swilling it around in his mouth like it’s mother’s milk. He isn’t from South Africa, but he’s spent some time there.
Shots: You acclimate to that taste. They say that elephants walk hundreds of miles to eat the fruit of the “Marriage Tree” and that sounds less and less unreasonable.
Shots: The feeling is not unlike being over-inflated into some sort of fleshy balloon. It’s definitely not pleasant – even if the drink itself is. And the heating, intended to counteract a cold front, isn’t helping.
Shots: Didn’t win the race, but still crossed the finish line. There’s honor in that even if there isn’t much to be said for throwing back good booze – good booze that made the trip from Stellenbosch.
