Amaretto Iced Smoothie Food

AMARETTO SMOOTHIE

Steps:

• In a blender combine amaretto, milk and ice cream. Blend until smooth. Pour over ice into 4 glasses.

AMARETTO AND RASPBERRY SMOOTHIE

Steps:

• Place half the raspberries in a blender with half the ice cream, 1 tablespoon almond liqueur, and 1 teaspoon orange zest. Pulse the blender until the mixture is combined. Add about half a tray of ice and blend until smooth.
• Divide the smoothie between 2 highball glasses and continue making the other 2 smoothies with the remaining ingredients. Crumble the macaroon cookies over the top of the smoothies. Serve with long spoons and a straw.

AMARETTO FLOAT

Steps:

• Place 2 scoops of gelato or ice cream in each of 6 fountain glasses. Pour 1/4 cup of espresso and 2 tablespoons of amaretto over each. Fill the glasses with the cream soda, and serve immediately with a straw and long fountain spoons.

AMARETTO ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Mix heavy cream, half-and-half, and sugar in a large bowl until sugar is dissolved. Add amaretto liqueur and vanilla extract.
• Pour milk mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions until ice cream reaches 'soft-serve' consistency. Transfer ice cream to a lidded container. Freeze for about 2 hours before serving.

ICED COFFEE SMOOTHIE

Steps:

• Add all ingredients, in order, to blender or smoothie maker.
• Blend until smooth. This will be pretty thick because of the amount of ice.
• Enjoy!

AMARETTO WITH SUMMER FRUIT

Steps:

• For syrup: in a small saucepan, stir together the sugar, water and honey. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes.
• Stir in the amaretto and lemon juice. Place fruit in a large mixing bowl. Pour syrup over fruit. Cover and chill for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
• Serve over ice cream; sprinkle with toasted almonds or pecans.

AMARETTO MARGARITA

Steps:

• Moisten rim of 1 cocktail glass with lime wedge. If desired, sprinkle salt on a plate; dip rim in salt. Fill glass with ice. In an empty cocktail shaker, combine tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice and amaretto. Fill with ice; cover and shake until frost forms on the outside of the shaker, 15-20 seconds. Strain into prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge and, if desired, cherries.
