Steps:
- Pour pineapple into well greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish or pan.
- Pour pie filling over pineapple and spread well.
- Dump cake mix over pie filling.
- Slice butter thin and lay over top of cake mix.
- Bake in preheated 325 degrees oven for 45 minutes or until brown.
- Cool in pan and serve in pan.

ALOHA STRAWBERRY DUMP CAKE
I added strawberries to my mom's dump cake recipe. The results are simply DIVINE! Plus, it's the easiest dessert I've EVER made. Try it!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Pour pineapple and its juice into a greased 9x13 casserole/baking pan.
- Sprinkle coconut over the pineapple, then sprinkle the strawberries over the coconut.
- Spread dry cake mix evenly over the layers of strawberries/coconut/pineapple. Dot the cake mix all over the top with the pieces of butter.
- DO NOT MIX.
- Bake 45 minutes, or until top is slightly browned.
- Cool and serve.
- You can leave out the coconut for those more picky eaters, it turns out wonderfully gooey!

CROCK POT STRAWBERRY DUMP CAKE
For a remembrance of summer, enjoy this strawberry treat. Very simple and yummy. I got the recipe from Razzle Dazzle Recipes. I thought it was delicious, hot, right out of the crock pot. But my neighbor, with whom I shared, ate hers cold, right out of the refrigerator. She thought that was delicious, too!

Steps:
- Place pie filling in crock pot.
- Combine dry cake mix and butter thoroughly, using fingers if necessary. The mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle over the filling.
- Sprinkle walnuts evenly over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. (Mine took the full 3 hours.).
- Serve in bowls topped with a dollop of Cool Whip.

FRESH STRAWBERRY CAKE
I make this cake at least once every summer, when fresh strawberries are in season. It's delicious! I found the recipe in a cook book titled, "A World of Baking".

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- FOR CAKE: Sift together: flour, salt, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, combine butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Beat for a total of 3 minutes, scrapping the sides of the bowl.
- Then add flour mixture to creamed mixture, alternating with strawberries.
- Beat for two minutes.
- Pour batter into two 8-inch round greased and floured cake pans.
- Bake in pre-heated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cake tests done.
- Turn out on to wire cooling racks to cool.
- When cool, top with Strawberry Glaze.
- FOR STRAWBERRY GLAZE: Mix together all ingredients.
- Use enough strawberries to thin mixture.
