HAWAIIAN PORK CHOPS

4 boneless pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick and 4 ounces each)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 teaspoons canola oil, divided
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
1/3 cup thinly sliced onion
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) reduced-sodium beef broth
1 can (8 ounces) unsweetened pineapple chunks, undrained
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons cold water
Hot cooked rice, optional

Steps:

  • Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook pork chops until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and keep warm. , In the same skillet, saute green pepper and onion in remaining 1 teaspoon oil until almost tender, about 2 minutes. Stir in broth, pineapple, ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Return pork to the pan. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 5-7 minutes. Remove and keep warm., Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, 1-2 minutes. Serve with pork and, if desired, rice.

4 boneless pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick)
1 tablespoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1 teaspoon plus 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 cup sweet-and-sour sauce
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained
1/2 medium green pepper, julienned
1/2 cup chopped red onion
6 cups cold cooked rice
1/4 cup stir-fry sauce

Steps:

  • Sprinkle pork chops with lemon-pepper. In a large skillet, brown chops on both sides in 1 teaspoon oil over medium-high heat; remove and set aside. Drain skillet; add sweet-and-sour sauce and pineapple chunks. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; return chops to skillet. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until meat juices run clear. , Meanwhile, in another skillet, saute the green pepper and onion in remaining oil for 2 minutes. 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
2 cans (8 oz. each) pineapple tidbits in juice, undrained
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) chicken broth
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 cup SHAKE 'N BAKE Original Pork Seasoned Coating Mix
4 bone-in pork chops (about 5 oz. each), 1/2 inch thick

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix rice, pineapple with juice, broth, green pepper and ginger in 13x9-inch baking dish.
  • Measure 1/2 cup coating mix and place in plastic bag; coat chops as directed on package. Place chops on rice mixture.
  • Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until chops are cooked through (165°F).

1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup water, divided
2 teaspoons honey
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
2 teaspoons cornstarch

Steps:

  • Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. In a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, cook pork in butter for 4-6 minutes on each side or until browned. 2 onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 (6 ounce) package chicken flavor stuffing mix
1 1/2 cups hot water
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Heat large nonstick skillet (sprayed with cooking spray) on medium-high heat. Add chops and onions; cook 10 minute or until chops are cooked through (160°F), stirring onions occasionally and turning chops over after 5 minute Transfer chops to plate; keep warm.
