This air fryer flank steak is tender and cooked to perfection without heating up a grill or splattering all over your oven. Easy to clean up, healthy, and delicious!

- Mix together the oil, coconut aminos, vinegar, and garlic in a shallow cooking dish that the steak will fit into. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the steak and place into marinade, flipping to coat both sides. Either return to the fridge to marinate up to 24 hours, or leave on the counter to come to room temperature if you plan to cook within an hour. You should try to marinade the steak at least 1 hour.
- Remove the steak from the fridge at least 30 minutes before you intend to cook. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the steak in the air fryer and cook for 5-7 minutes each side (5 for rare at 120-130 degrees internal temp, 7 for medium at 130-135 degrees internal temp). Check the internal temperature once the timer is up and if it's done, place it on a cutting board (preferably with a moat to catch the juices) and cover with foil. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing thin against the grain of the meat.
- Meanwhile, stir together the corn, shallot, tomatoes, cilantro or parsley, and vinegar. Add salt and pepper to taste. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes to soak up the flavors. Serve over the steak.

- Remove steak from the refrigerator and allow it to rest on the counter until it comes to room temperature (about 30 minutes).
- Combine all of the seasonings in a small bowl and set aside.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F.
- Using a paper towel, pat the meat until it's dry. Sprinkle the seasonings onto both sides of the meat and rub it into the meat.
- Lightly spritz the air fryer basket with oil then place the steak in the basket. Cook at 380 degrees F for your preferred doneness (see times in Notes below). Use a meat thermometer to verify temperature.
- Remove steak from air fryer and place on a plate. Cover steak with foil and allow it to rest for 10-15 minutes before cutting. After the resting period, slice the steak by cutting against the grain and serve.

AIR FRYER STEAK WITH GARLIC-HERB BUTTER
Yes, you can even cook steak in an air fryer! We found that thicker cuts, like sirloin, are best -- they turn nice and browned on the outside without overcooking. Plus, there's very little clean up. We added a homemade garlic-herb butter to melt over the steak for a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner.

- Allow the steak to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Preheat a 3.5-quart air fryer to 400 degrees F. Season the steak on both sides with a generous pinch of salt and several grinds of black pepper. Place the steak in the center of the air fryer basket and cook until desired doneness, about 10 minutes for medium-rare, 12 minutes for medium and 14 minutes for medium-well. Transfer the steak to a cutting board and allow to rest, about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mash together the butter, parsley, chives, garlic and crushed red pepper in a small bowl until combined. Slice the steak against the grain into 1/4-inch-thick pieces. Top with the garlic-herb butter.

- Place the flank steak In a gallon-sized sealable bag and set it aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients listed and whisk until combined.
- Pour the marinade into the bag with the flank steak. Seal tightly removing any excess air. Store in the refrigerator and marinate for at least 20 minutes or as long as overnight. The longer you can marinate the meat, the more flavorful and tender it will be. Turn the bag occasionally making sure it is marinating evenly on all sides.
- When you are ready to air fry the meat, drain the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400° Farenheit. Add the steak to the basket and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side only flipping once. Cook time depends on the thickness of your steak. Cook until the internal temperature reads 140-145° Fahrenheit or 130° Farhenheit for medium-rare. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
- Thinly slice steak against the grain. Enjoy the meat as is, or serve in tacos, burritos, nachos, or salads.
