Air Fryer Bananas are a perfect treat for a simple snack, or family favorite dessert. Made with just a few ingredient, and done in minutes!

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 medium bananas
4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Begin by peeling and cutting ripe bananas lengthwise with a sharp knife. Using a paper towel to wipe off any excess skin from banana. Place banana slices on a cutting board in a single layer.
  • Place butter in a medium saucepan over low heat or melt butter in microwave in a microwave safe dish.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the cinnamon and brown sugar. Take each individual banana slice and coat with butter. Then spoon sugar and cinnamon mixture over the top of each banana slice.
  • Next lightly mist basket with cooking spray or line air fryer basket with parchment paper. Place bananas slices into the air fryer basket, without overlapping.
  • Air fry at 380 degrees F for 6-8 minutes, gently turning the banana slices lengthwise halfway through the cooking process to keep ingredients on top of bananas. Air Fry until they are golden brown and serve warm.

These egg cups are easily customizable with the vegetables you have on hand. The seasonings may also be changed around. They're also low carb. I call them souffle egg cups, because like a souffle will rise, and fall, these do too. I got a total of four, but this recipe is easily doubled

2 eggs
¼ cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
¼ cup frozen pepper and onion stir fry mix, thawed
¼ teaspoon taco seasoning mix
⅛ teaspoon garlic salt

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 5 minutes.
  • Whip eggs in a bowl until light and frothy. Add Cheddar cheese, vegetable mix, taco seasoning, and garlic salt. Pour mixture into silicone baking cups and set into the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.

butter-flavored cooking spray
5 tablespoons sugar
2 bananas, ripe (not over-ripe)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 large egg yolk
3 large egg whites
1 pinch salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Spray four 1-cup ramekins with cooking spray (or brush with melted butter). Add 2 tablespoons of the sugar to 1 of the ramekins and rotate it to coat with sugar. Tap the excess sugar into another ramekin and repeat until all the ramekins are coated with sugar.
  • In a food processor, puree bananas with lime juice, egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of sugar until smooth. Pour into a large bowl.
  • In a stainless steel or glass bowl, beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until soft peaks form. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of sugar and beat until firm and glossy.
  • Using a rubber spatula, beat one-fourth of the beaten whites into the banana mixture, then gently fold in the remaining whites. Pour soufflé mixture into prepared ramekins and tap them lightly on a countertop.
  • Set ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the center of the oven for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown and risen.
  • Serve at once.

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons white sugar
2 egg whites
2 eggs, separated
1 pinch salt
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tablespoon honey, or more to taste
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
1 tablespoon sweetened cocoa powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Brush 4 1-cup souffle dishes with melted butter; sprinkle the insides of the cups with sugar.
  • Set the egg yolks aside, and place the 4 egg whites into the work bowl of an electric mixer. Beat the egg whites and salt until the whites form soft peaks.
  • Place the 2 egg yolks, bananas, honey, vanilla extract, and ginger into a blender; pulse until smooth.
  • Scoop the banana mixture into a bowl; use a rubber spatula or wire whisk to gently fold 1/4 of the beaten egg whites into the banana mixture. Gently run the spatula through the center of the bowl, then around the sides of the bowl, repeating until fully incorporated. Fold in the remaining egg whites, being careful to keep as much air in the mixture as possible.
  • Spoon the souffle mixture into the prepared dishes; bake in the preheated oven until the souffles have puffed up above the baking dishes and the tops are browned, about 15 minutes. Sift a little sweetened cocoa powder over each souffle for garnish to serve.

Steps:

  • Line air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  • Preheat an air fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

1 large egg, room temperature
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

2/3 cup mashed ripe banana (about 1 medium)

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 325°. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 3-4 minutes. Beat in egg. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with banana, beating well after each addition.
