ROOT BEER FLOATS

Steps:

• Place a few scoops of vanilla ice cream into 2 tall float glasses. Pour the root beer and bourbon, if using, over the ice cream and top with a dollop of whipped cream.

Steps:

• Hang a large, well packed scoop of vanilla ice cream on the edge of a fountain glass or other tall drinking glass. Fill the glass 3/4 full with root beer. Set the fountain glass on a salad plate, underlining the glass for overflow. Serve floats with straws and parfait spoons. When you are ready to enjoy the floats, knock the ice cream into the root beer and watch it fizz up as the ice cream floats. Yummy! This is the simplest and my most favorite fountain drink!

ADULT ROOT BEER FLOATS

Steps:

• 1. Scoop 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream into each of the 4 frosty mugs.
• 2. Add enough root beer to fill each mug. If desired, top with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Serve immediately.

ADULT ROOT BEER FLOATS

Steps:

• Fill glass with ice.
• Pour in root beer.
• Add vanilla ice cream.
• Top with bourbon.
• Stir and enjoy!

SPIKED ROOT BEER FLOAT

Steps:

• Pour 2 to 3 ounces of whiskey into each chilled pint glass.
• Dip ice cream scoop into hot water and make small scoops to drop into glass. Use scoop to push or slightly pack ice cream down into whiskey.
• Slowly pour chilled root beer over the ice cream.
• Serve with a large straw and a long handled spoon. Typically blending is not required.

ROOT BEER FLOAT (ADULT DRINK)

Steps:

• Fill pint glass with ice. Add the vodka and Kahlua.
• Fill 2 to 3 inches from top with cream and top off with Coke.
• Transfer between two glass for foamy effect or use a shaker.

ADULT ROOT BEER FLOAT

Steps:

• Stir ingredients together and add root beer. It tastes just like a root beer float you had as a kid.
• Or: Pour 1 oz. of Mudslide mix (omitting the vodka) in a freezer-safe mug; fill with root beer--freeze for 2-3 hours, and you have a root beer slushy.
