I had some left over coffee from my morning brew and decided to make another smoothie recipe. *Cooking time: is blending time.

12 ounces 1% low-fat milk
6 tablespoons malted chocolate drink mix
1/4 cup french vanilla non-dairy coffee creamer
8 ounces coffee (brewed)
1 cup ice (crushed)

Steps:

  • In a blender, blend on high: milk, drink mix, non-dairy creamer, coffee for about 2 minutes.
  • Add ice and blend until smooth about 5 minutes.
  • Serve immediately and Enjoy.

1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup raspberry sherbet
1/2 cup Orange sherbet
1/2 cup blueberries
1 cup strawberry
1 tablespoon sugar (or 1/2 tablespoon Splenda granulated)

Steps:

  • Place ingredients in a blender and blend on high 1-2 minutes or until smooth.
  • Enjoy!

1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup 1% low-fat milk
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream (softened)
1/2 cup lemon sherbet (softened)
1/4 cup french vanilla non-dairy coffee creamer

Steps:

  • In blender ad orange juice, pineapple juice, milk, ice cream, sherbert and creamer and blend on hight for 2-3 minutes or until there are no lumps.
  • Makes 4 eight ounce servings or 2 sixteen ounce servings.

2 cups water
1 cup sugar
2 cups pomegranate juice
1/4 cup lemon juice

Steps:

  • In 1-quart saucepan, heat water and sugar to boiling over high heat.
  • Boil sugar mixture 5 minutes, reducing it slightly to a syrup.
  • Remove syrup from heat and cool to room temperature.
  • In bowl, combine syrup and both the pomegranate and lemon juices.
  • Cover and refrigerate mixture until cold.
  • Transfer sorbet to airtight container and freeze until firm, 2 to 12 hours.

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

Steps:

  • Combine sugar and water.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Let cool.
  • Stir in lemon and lime juices.
  • Put in a jar with a tight fitting lid.
  • Seal and refrigerate at least 6 hours before using.
  • This can be kept in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
