AVOCADO TAHINI DIP
It's delicious as an appetizer that's ready in 5 minutes, and if you have any leftover (which is unlikely), spread it on a chicken sandwich for lunch!

Steps:
- In a medium bowl, mash the avocado until it is a smooth paste (you can also do this in a food processor if you have one).
- Stir in, or use a processor to add, the garlic powder, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, and cayenne.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with pita bread and other crudité.
5-MINUTE TAHINI DIP RECIPE
Be amazed at the diversity of flavors in this tahini dip. The earthy and slightly bitter flavor from the crushed sesame -- the tahini -- and the refreshingly sour taste of the lemon juice offers a strong umami taste. Adding ground cumin will give this dip its depth.

- Make the Creamy Tahini Sauce:
- Sprinkle garlic with salt on a cutting board, then use the side of a knife to smash into a paste. Transfer to a large bowl. Add tahini and 1 cup warm water. Whisk until smooth. Add parsley, lemon juice, oil, and cayenne and whisk to combine.
- For the Creamy Tahini Dip with Avocado:
- Combine avocado, yogurt, lemon juice, salt, cumin, and 1/2 cup Creamy Tahini Sauce in a large bowl, then mash with a fork until smooth. For a smoother texture, purée in a blender.
- For the Creamy Tahini Dressing with Cucumber and Dill:
- Purée cucumber, buttermilk, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, and 1/2 cup Creamy Tahini Sauce in a blender until smooth. Add dill and pulse a few more times to combine.
