SAM'S HAMBURGERS (OAMC)
I have had these burgers dissapear right before my very eyes. Warning, they are hot, but youcan cut out the chilis and add something else. I mark this as a kid pleaser because my kids love them, but they may be too spicy for others. I never measure, so they turn out differently every time, but this is a rough estimate of them. Freeze them individually for 1 hour, then pack them into freezer bags for up to 2 mths. Thaw and BBQ them or fry on the stove top.

BLUE CHEESE BURGERS
Steps:
- Carefully mix the meats, bread crumbs, steak sauce, eggs, salt, and pepper with the tines of a fork, but do not mash them. Lightly form hamburger patties and press lightly into shape.
- Prepare a charcoal or a stove-top grill.
- Cook the hamburgers for 4 minutes on 1 side, then turn and cook 3 minutes on the other side for medium-rare. Remove to a plate and cover with aluminum foil. Allow the hamburgers to rest for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, grill the buns, cut side down, for 1 minute, until toasted. Place a hamburger and a slice of blue cheese in each bun, plus arugula and tomato, if desired, and serve hot.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl combine the beef, garlic, beaten eggs, and salt and pepper, to taste.
- Divide the meat mixture into 6 round even patties. Press 1-ounce of blue cheese and 1-ounce of the cold butter into the center of the formed patty. Remold the patty so that all the cheese and butter are hidden inside the center. Continue until all the beef patties have been formed. Refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Pour the oil into a large skillet over medium-high. When the oil is smoking, add the beef patties and cook on both sides until golden brown. Remove to a sheet pan and roast in the preheated oven until desired doneness is reached, about 6 minutes. Cook's Note: They can be also cooked on a charcoal grill.
- Warm the buns slightly, then put the burgers on the buns and top each with lettuce, tomato and an onion ring. Enjoy. You can, if you wish, use mayonnaise, ketchup or mustard to enhance this dish.
WINE & BLUE CHEESE HAMBURGERS (OAMC)
Called Different Hamburgers by Gloria Diggs who submitted it to a cookbook. I cut this out and had it in a folder. It has an interesting combo of ingredients that you put in a blender and then mix into the meat. They can be prepared, frozen and cooked when desired.

KITTENCAL'S JUICY BLUE CHEESE HAMBURGERS/BURGERS
If you are a lover of blue cheese then you will love these burgers! they are at their best when cooked on the grill --- yield is only estimated depending on the size of your burgers you should get 6 good size burgers -- you may add in about 3 tablespoon finely grated raw potato for even more juiciness but no more than 3 tablespoons ---plan ahead the patties must be refrigerated for 24 hours to develop the flavors --- also see my recipe#208583

BLUE CHEESE STUFFED HAMBURGERS
Found this recipe from Target. Haven't tried it yet but sure does sound good. I love blue cheese and always looking for recipes using blue cheese. Posting this to save in my cookbook. I added my own preference of blue cheese. Rosenborg is my favorite brand of blue cheese, its the best I think :)

- For the mayo, mix all of the ingredients together and set aside. If not using right away, keep in an airtight container in the fridge (the rosemary flavor will become more pronounced as it sits, which I love).
- For the burger, gently mix together the ground beef, onion, Worcestershire, rosemary, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until just combined (I use my fingers). Form into a single patty, about the size of your burger bun, making sure to press a shallow indentation in the center so it stays flat when you sear it.
