3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons lemon extract
3/4 cup 7-Up soda

Steps:

  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in flour; beat in lemon extract and 7Up.
  • Pour batter into well greased and floured 12 cup fluted mold.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes to an hour and 25 minutes.
  • Cool; dust with conf.
  • sugar if desired.

1 box lemon flake cake mix
1 box instant pineapple pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup cooking oil
10 ounces 7-Up soda
1 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
1/2-1 cup butter or 1/2-1 cup margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons cornstarch or 2 tablespoons flour
1 cup coconut (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix together above ingredients.
  • Pour into a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  • Bake at 325 for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • FROSTING---------.
  • Mix and cook until thick.
  • Add coconut.
  • Let cake cool before icing.

1 (18 ounce) yellow cake mix
1 (3 1/2 ounce) box vanilla instant pudding mix
4 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
10 ounces carbonated lemon-lime beverage (7-up)
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup butter
1 (4 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 cup shredded coconut

Steps:

  • Mix everything except 7up in large bowl beat until light and fluffy.
  • Add 7 up, mix on low speed until blended.
  • Put into lightly greased 9x13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cover immediately with topping.
  • Topping: In saucepan over medium heat beat 2 eggs with fork.
  • Add sugar, flour, butter, pineapple and juice.
  • Stir constantly until thick.
  • Add coconut.
  • Prick warm cake with fork and pour topping over.

3 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
5 eggs, room temperature
3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup 7-Up
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • To make the cake, preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Generously grease a tube pan with oil or butter.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter at medium speed until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add the sugar and beat for another 5 minutes. Add the eggs, 1 by 1, beating well after every addition.
  • Sift in the flour, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition, until mixture is smooth. Pour in the lemon extract and 7-up ad stir with a spatula until well-combined.
  • Pour the batter into the greased pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove it from the pan and cool on a wire rack completely.
  • While the cake is baking, make the glaze. Beat the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until smooth. Pour the glaze over the cake. Let the cake cool completely before slicing.

1 (10 ounce) bottle 7-up
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup margarine (1 stick)
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 (6 ounce) can crushed pineapple, do not drain
1 cup coconut (more if needed)
1 cup chopped pecans (more if needed)

Steps:

  • Mix together cake mix and instant pudding. Add oil. Add eggs, beating well after each addition. Add Seven-Up. Mix well. Bake in 9x13-inch greased and floured pan at 350* for approximately 30 minutes, or until cake pulls away from edge of pan.
  • Frosting.
  • Mix together sugar and flour. Add the rest of the frosting ingredients except the coconut and chopped pecans. Cook on top of stove, or in microwave oven, until thick; then add the coconut and chopped pecans.
  • Spread frosting on cake while both are still warm.

2/3 cup vegetable oil

2 tablespoons flour
angel flake coconut, 1 can

Steps:

  • Empty lemon supreme cake mix and instant pineapple pudding into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add oil and eggs.
  • Beat about 2 minutes.
  • Add 7-Up and mix until well blended.
  • Pour into a greased and floured cake sheet pan.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Bake 35 to minutes or until done.
  • While still hot spread with Icing.
  • ICING:.
  • Cook margarine, sugar, pineapple, flour and eggs until thick.
  • Add coconut and blend well.

1 cup lemon-lime carbonated beverage (such as 7Up®)
1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
¼ cup milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Generously grease a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt®).
  • Beat white sugar and butter together in a bowl using an electric mixer until creamy and smooth; add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir flour, 1 cup at a time, blending well after each addition until batter is smooth; stir in lemon extract. Mix lemon-lime beverage into batter and pour into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean, about 1 hour 15 minutes. Remove cake from pan immediately.

1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3 eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup egg white
1 tablespoon egg white
3 cups whole wheat flour or 3 cups brown rice flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup soda pop (7-Up)
1/4 cup soda pop (7-Up)
1/2 cup sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300°F Spray 10" tibe pan with non-stick cooking spray. Lightly coat with flour.
  • Combine margarine, shortening, sugar, vanilla and almond extract with electric mixer. Beat 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually add eggs & egg whites, beating well after each addition.
  • In separate bowl, combine flour and salt. Add to margarine/sugar mixture alternately with 1 cup 7 UP, beating well after each addition.
  • Spoon batter into pan. Bake 1 hr 45 minute.
  • Cool in pan on rack 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
  • Make glaze: Stir together 1/4 c 7 UP & 1/2 c sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 1 to 2 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
  • Use toothpick to poke holes in top of warm cake. Spoon glaze over cake & allow to cool.
