Food Network's Ree Drummond shares her recipe for homemade restaurant-style salsa that the whole family will love!

Two 10-ounce cans diced tomatoes and green chiles, such as Rotel
One 28-ounce can whole tomatoes with juice
1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves (or more to taste!)
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 whole jalapeno, quartered and sliced thin, with seeds and membrane
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 whole lime, juiced

Steps:

  • Combine the diced tomatoes, whole tomatoes, cilantro, onions, garlic, jalapeno, cumin, salt, sugar and lime juice in a blender or food processor. (This is a very large batch. I recommend using a 12-cup food processor, or you can process the ingredients in batches and then mix everything together in a large mixing bowl.)
  • Pulse until you get the salsa to the consistency you'd like. I do about 10 to 15 pulses. Test seasonings with a tortilla chip and adjust as needed.
  • Refrigerate the salsa for at least an hour before serving.

¼ teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Combine tomatoes, red onion, yellow onion, green chilies, lime juice, cilantro, garlic, cumin, and salt in a food processor. Pulse processor until mixture is combined, yet remains chunky. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

2 cups creamy salad dressing, e.g. Miracle Whip ™
¾ cup milk
½ tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 ½ teaspoons dried oregano

Steps:

  • Measure salad dressing into a medium bowl. Gradually stir in the milk. Season with red pepper flakes, cumin, salt, garlic powder, and oregano, and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend. If you taste it right away, all you will taste is salad dressing.

1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can (16 oz.) pinto beans, rinsed
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chiles, undrained
2 tsp. WYLER'S Instant Bouillon Chicken Flavored Granules
1-1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
3-1/4 cups water, divided
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
1/2 cup TACO BELL® Verde Salsa

Steps:

  • Cook turkey, onions and garlic in large saucepan over medium-high heat 5 to 7 min. or until turkey is done and onions are tender, stirring occasionally; drain. Return turkey mixture to pan.
  • Add beans, chiles, bouillon, dry seasonings and 3 cups water; stir. Bring to boil, stirring frequently. Cover; simmer over medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Mix flour and remaining water until blended. Add to turkey mixture. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; simmer over medium-low heat 20 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Serve topped with cheese and salsa.
