Steps:
- 1. Place salmon in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until fine, or mince salmon with a sharp knife. Spoon salmon into a small bowl. 2. Add wasabi powder, lemon juice, horseradish, pepper and mayo to the bowl with the salmon, and stir until well combined. 3. Serve immediately as a dip for vegetable crudites, chips, or Fritto Misto. Or, cover and store dip in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

- Combine soy sauce, wasabi, and sesame oil in a plastic bag or bowl and add fish. Marinate for at least 5 minutes or more, turning occasionally to coat.
- Remove fish and keep leftover marinade.
- Spay cooking pan with spray and broil salmon on each side for 2-4 minutes.
- Add remaining marinade and cook for another 2 minutes or until done.
- Serve with pink sushi ginger, brown rice and vegetables (not included in calories).

- Preheat broiler or grill.
- Combine soy sauce and 1/2 tsp wasabi paste; mix well. Spoon mixture over salmon with skin side down. Place salmon, skin side down, on grill over medium heat or rack of broiler pan.
- Grill or broil 4 to 5 inhces from heat source for about 8 minutes. Salmon should be flakey.
- Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise and remaining 1 tsp of wasabil paste & mix well. Taste and add more wasabi if desired. Transfer salmon to serving plates and top with mayonnaise mixture.

SMOKED SALMON WITH AVOCADO AND WASABI CREAM CHEESE FINGER SANWICHES
This is a fun take on my favorite kind of sushi: salmon and avocado with a healthy dose of wasabi. I keep it open-faced here so you can see how pretty the insides look and so as not to cover up the succulence of the ingredients with too much bread.

- Mix the wasabi with the cream cheese in a small bowl. Spread the bread slices with a thin, even layer of the mixture.
- Cut the avocado in half lengthwise and twist the 2 halves apart and remove the pit. Use a spoon to remove the avocado flesh in 1 piece. Slice each avocado half in 1/8-inch slices. Place the avocado slices in a bowl and squeeze juice from 1/2 lemon over avocado slices and toss gently.
- Cover each bread slice with a single layer of avocado slices. Top with a piece of salmon. Serve as soon as possible.

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

- Blanch the asparagus in 2 batches in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 1 minute.
- Move to a colander and rinse under cold running water to stop it from cooking.
- Drain well and pat dry.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, and wasabi paste until sugar is dissolved.
- Serve asparagus with dip.
- This dip is also good as a spread for sandwiches and as a topping for cooked veggies! Enjoy!

- Mix all the ingredients for wasabi mayonnaise and place in refrigerator. The longer the better.
- Mix or whisk all the marinade ingredients and pour in a large sealable bag over the salmon (I like to use the 1 gallon freezer bags).
- Rotate the bag a few times (make sure the bag is closed) to make sure marinade gets all over all of the pieces of salmon.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (salmon can handle a little longer if you wish, but I wouldn't go over 2 hours).
- Grill on high heat for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until done. Internal temperature should be 140 degrees.
- Serve with wasabi mayonnaise.
