WASHABINAROS CHILI
What happens when you have a Japanese friend that likes chili? You make him wasabi chili.

Steps:
- Place 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pot and place the pot over medium heat. Cook and stir the onions, garlic, beef and sausage until meats are browned. Pour in the tomatoes, beer, coffee, tomato paste and broth. Season with chili powder, cumin, sugar, oregano, cayenne, coriander, salt and wasabi. Stir in one can of beans, bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat remaining oil. Cook Anaheim, serrano and habanero peppers in oil until just tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Stir into the pot and simmer 2 hours.
- Stir in remaining 2 cans of beans and cook 45 minutes more.

I have used this recipe for over 40 years. I believe it came in a booklet with an electric skillet that I purchased in the 1960's.

Steps:
- In a large pan over medium high heat, cook onion, green pepper and celery in olive oil until partially tender.
- Add beef; fry until slightly browned.
- Add tomatoes, juice, and chili powder.
- Add salt, sugar, and worstershire sauce.
- Bring to boil, then lower heat to simmer and simmer for an hour.
- Add beans and macaroni and heat through.

Steps:
- 1. Gather all ingredients. 2. Chop onion in food processor. Pre heat a 10 quart pot. Add grape seed oil, then onions. Sautee for 3 minutes. Begin adding ground meat. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and chili powder as you brown the meat. This will take about 5 minutes to add all the ground meat. Brown meat until completely cooked. 3. Add whole tomatoes through brown sugar to pot. Mix throughly. 4. Add cilantro to food processor and chop. Add to chili. Dice red, yellow, orange and green bell pepper. Add to chili. Chop ancho chili, remove seeds and add to pot. 5. Add beans that have be drained and rinsed throughly in a colander. 6. Add corn. Cook for about 1 hour. 7. If you are making two versions, hot and mild, place a portion of the chili in a 5 quart pot and place on simmer. Add the Spicy Extras to the remaining portion. Cook both chilis on low for 2 hours. 8. In a 3 quart pot, Add water, whole peppers and sugar. Bring to boil. Cook for about 15 minutes. Add to blender. Puree. Return to pot. Boil for 45 minutes or until jelly thickens. 9. Remove from heat. Cool for 20 minutes. Place into glass or ceramic bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use. 10. Make the corn muffins per box directions. 11. Enjoy.

My best friends brother-n-law worked for Wendy's fast food chain for several years, she gave me this recipe when she found out how much I love their chili. I was surprised to see how simple it was! Yummy to my Tummy!

- In a Dutch oven or large, heavy-bottomed pot, heat 2 teaspoons vegetable oil and brown beef; break up beef into its smallest components. Pour into bowl and reserve. Heat remaining vegetable oil and fry onion over medium heat, until limp and golden. Transfer beef to pot along with pureed tomato sauce, pinto beans, red kidney beans, chili powder, beef base, brown sugar and garlic salt. Bring to a boil, then turn heat down to medium or medium-low and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in mayonnaise and heat through. Taste and correct seasonings.

After trying several clone recipes and adjusting them to my tastes, I've concocted what I think is the best clone. Serve topped with finely diced white onions and/or shredded cheese. Enjoy!

- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Press ground beef into the hot oil to form one large patty; let the bottom brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir and break the ground beef into crumbles and cook until no longer pink, about 5 more minutes.
- Stir celery, onion, and green bell pepper into ground beef and cook until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes; pour in stewed tomatoes, diced tomatoes with green chiles, tomato sauce, and water. Break apart large chunks of stewed tomatoes. Stir in chili seasoning.
- Mix kidney beans and pinto beans into chili, season with salt and black pepper, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour. Mix vinegar into chili.
