Peach Twinkie Trifle dessert is layered Twinkies, vanilla pudding, and peaches topped with Reddi-Wip. Whip this up in just a few minutes!

1 box instant vanilla pudding, (3.4 ounces)
2 cups milk
4 Twinkies
1 can peaches, (15.25 ounces)
Reddi-Wip

Steps:

  • Make pudding according to package directions. Drain peaches.
  • Slice or break up Twinkies and put 1 in each glass or bowl. Layer pudding (I had a couple of small servings of pudding left over) and peaches in each glass and top with Reddi-Wip.

I thought chocolate would go well with Twinkies and the whipped topping would be light enough to reduce the sweetness. Everyone enjoyed the dessert...after all, how can one not enjoy a Twinkie?" 20 Hostess Twinkies
1 (6 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
3 cups milk
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1 (12 ounce) container frozen non-dairy topping, thawed
8 1/2 ounces milk chocolate english toffee-flavored candy bars, finely chopped

Steps:

  • Cut 10 of the Twinkies in half lengthwise and arrange standing upright, filling side in, around a 4-quart trifle bowl or a deep glass bowl.
  • In a bowl, combine the pudding mix and milk and stir according to the package instructions.
  • Crumble the remaining 10 Twinkies, reserving 1/2 cup for the topping.
  • Place half of the Twinkie crumbs in the bottom of the trifle bowl.
  • Layer with half of the chocolate syrup, half of the pudding, half of the whipped topping, and half of the crushed candy bars.
  • Repeat the layers of Twinkie crumbs, syrup, pudding, and whipped topping.
  • Combine the remaining crushed candy bars with the reserved 1/2 cup Twinkie crumbs and sprinkle over the trifle.
  • Refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours before serving.

4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1 (18.75 ounce) can ready-to-use strawberry glaze
8 Twinkies
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Combine strawberries and glaze in a small bowl.
  • Slice Twinkies in half lengthwise, and place in a single layer over the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth. Fold in whipped topping, and spread mixture over Twinkies. Spoon berries over cream cheese mixture. Cover and chill 30 minutes or more. Refrigerate leftovers.

Licor 43 a Spanish liqueur which has 43 complex ingredients and matches very well with figs is included in this recipe. The vanilla is right up front then citrus and herbs and spices that are a secret. Shh!! To keep this Spanish you can use Spanish figs but any well work. 2 cups white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 lbs figs, washed and quartered
1/4 cup bottled lemon juice
1/3 cup Licor 43

Steps:

  • In a large pot place sugars, the figs, lemon juice,.
  • Stir to release juices it will be thick. Simmer over low heat stirring not to burn. Juices will come and when it does raise heat to high stirring most of the time.
  • When it hits a rolling boil for 15 minutes all the time stirring add liquor cook 1 minute.
  • Pour into sterile jars leaving 1/4 inch head space and process 10 minutes.
  • Optional : for those that like it smoother without chunks you can blend thee figs before adding to sugar or use an immersion blender while cooking.

These look like Twinkies®, but taste way better than the real deal...and they're better cold/frozen!

4 eggs
½ cup butter, melted and cooled to lukewarm
1 cup water
1 (5.1 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
½ cup butter, room temperature
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
5 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 10x15 inch jelly roll pans.
  • Beat the eggs until combined; stir in the melted butter. Add the water, pudding mix, and yellow cake mix, stirring well to combine. The batter will be very thick. Divide the batter between the prepared pans, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake until the cakes spring back when pressed lightly with a finger or a tester comes out clean, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks.
  • To make the filling, combine the room-temperature butter, cream cheese, and confectioners' sugar. Beat until smooth. Stir in the whipped topping and vanilla extract.
  • When the cakes are cool, spread the filling mixture on top of one cake layer. Place the second cake layer on top of the first, and cut into bars. Wrap each bar in plastic wrap and store in the freezer.

15 Hostess Twinkies
1 package instant vanilla pudding
6 Skor candy bars
1 cup whipping cream (whipped)

Steps:

  • Cut twinkies in half lengthwise.
  • Line bottom of a 9x13 pan with half of the twinkies (cream side up).
  • Cover with pudding.
  • Crush skor bars and sprinkle half (3 bars) over pudding.
  • Put rest of twinkies (cream side down) on top.
  • Cover with whipping cream.
  • Sprinkle remaining three bars on top.
  • Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Enjoy!
