1/4 cup fresh blueberries or 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup sliced fresh strawberries or 1/4 cup frozen strawberries
3/4 cup vanilla-flavored soymilk or 3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup grape juice or 1/2 cup cranberry juice, chilled
1/2 cup vanilla frozen yogurt or 1/2 cup pineapple sherbet

Steps:

  • In a blender container combine banana, berries, soy milk, juice, and yogurt.
  • Cover and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses.

2 cups frozen fruit (we love using raspberries and mangoes)
1 fresh banana (see notes)
8 ounces silken tofu
¼ cup water

Steps:

  • Place the ingredients into your blender and blend on high until smooth.
  • If you'd like a thinner smoothie, add a little extra water.

  • In a blender, combine strawberries, blueberries, banana, and pineapple until smooth. Add tofu and ice cubes and liquefy. Serve immediately.

A very healthy, thick and creamy smoothie. Using fat free ingredients this is a low calorie smoothie. I use an orange powder mix from FRS, www.frsenergy.com, but you could use any powder breakfast drink mix you like.

3 ounces silken soft tofu (I use Mori-Nu lite)
1/3 cup plain fat-free yogurt
1/2 cup nonfat milk (I use Almond Breeze original light vanilla)
2 teaspoons orange concentrate (I use 1 FRS antioxidant orange powder packet)
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon sugar substitute (I use 1 splenda packet)

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients into blender and process until smooth and creamy.
  • Enjoy!
  • I've been having this every morning with a wonderful ten-grain zucchini muffin (333213). Very filling and so good for you.
