2 tablespoons canola oil, divided
4 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
2 pounds ground turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
4 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 cup salsa
1 envelope taco seasoning
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat. Add pasta; cook and stir 2-3 minutes or until pasta is toasted. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. In same skillet, heat remaining oil over medium-high heat. Add turkey and onion; cook 6-8 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, breaking into crumbles., Transfer to slow cooker. Stir in tomato sauce, water, salsa and taco seasoning. Cook, covered, 3-4 hours or until pasta is tender., Remove insert; top with cheese. Let stand, covered, 15 minutes.

1 pound ground turkey
1 (14-ounce) package macaroni and cheese dinner with 4-cheese sauce (recommended: Kraft Deluxe)
1 (4-ounce) jar pimentos
1 cup frozen corn, thawed
1 cup tortilla chips
1/4 cup preshredded Mexican style Cheddar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Brown ground turkey in a large skillet over medium-high heat; set aside.
  • Cook macaroni and cheese according to directions on package.
  • In a large bowl, stir to combine macaroni and cheese, cooked ground turkey, pimentos and corn and transfer to 3-quart casserole dish. Crumble tortilla chips over top and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

8 fluid ounces water
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chile peppers
½ onion, chopped
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 clove garlic, minced
12 (6 inch) corn tortillas
1 cup shredded lettuce, or to taste
½ cup Cheddar cheese, or to taste
½ cup diced tomatoes, or to taste
¼ cup chopped green onion, or to taste
¼ cup chopped cilantro, or to taste
2 tablespoons sliced olives, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey; cook and stir until browned, about 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce, water, green chile peppers, onion, taco seasoning, and garlic; simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 30 minutes.
  • Spoon turkey mixture over tortillas. Top with lettuce, Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, green onion, cilantro, and sliced olives.

1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 envelope taco seasoning
Shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. , Stir in the tomatoes, soup, tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil. 1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups celery, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper (optional)

2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2-2 cups turkey, cooked and chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups crushed plain potato chips
