TEXAS TATER CASSEROLE
Spice up traditional Tater Tot casserole with salsa, chili powder and taco-seasoned cheese.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 375°. Cook beef, onion, celery and garlic in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
- Stir soup, corn, picante, chili powder and pepper into beef mixture. Spoon into ungreased 2 1/2-quart casserole. Top with frozen potato nuggets.
- Bake uncovered 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 to 10 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a casserole dish or enameled cast iron skillet.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour to create a roux and cook, whisking, until golden brown.
- Whisk in milk, scraping up roux and incorporating. Cook, whisking occasionally, until thickened and bubbly, about 5 minutes. Whisk in salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat. Whisk in 2 cups of cheese until completely melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in tomatoes.
- Scatter brisket on the bottom of the prepared casserole dish. Pour cheese sauce over the top. Arrange tots on top of the sauce; some might sink down a little.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, remove from oven, scatter remaining 1/2 cup cheese on top. Return to oven for 10 minutes.
- When done, remove from oven and let stand 5-10 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to thicken and the dish to cool slightly. Scatter green onions on top and serve with sour cream, if desired.

- Crumble hamburger into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle meat with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cover the hamburger with tater tots.
- In a bowl, stir together mushroom soup, celery soup and milk. Pour the soup mixture over the potatoes and hamburger and sprinkle with additional garlic powder.

TEXAS TATER TOT CASSEROLE
Not sure which website I found this, but I recently made it and it was good. I did omit the Nacho Sauce I wasn't sure about the Nacho Cheese Sauce and it turned out fine. Next time I will look at another store for the Nacho Sauce. It's a good alternative to the usual Tater Tot Casseroles.

- Line up the tater tots in a buttered 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Add the olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and onion and cook, breaking the sausage up with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly, then sprinkle it over the tater tots.
- In a large bowl, mix the milk, half-and-half, seasoned salt, cayenne, eggs, bell peppers, half of both cheeses and some salt and pepper. Pour over the tots and sausage mixture, then top with the rest of the cheese. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Bake, covered, for about 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake until the cheese is brown and bubbly and the casserole is cooked through, another 20 to 35 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown ground beef and onion together in skillet.
- drain.
- Add taco seasoning and water and simmer according to package directions.
- In a 13x9 casserole dish spread taco meat on bottom of pan.
- Layer the corn on top of it.
- Then place tater tots in a single layer on top of corn.
- Spread the salsa con queso on top of everything.
- Cook in preheated oven for about one hour.

TATER TOTS CASSEROLE
My husband begged me to find this recipe and make it-- its his favorite comfort food. It reminds him of his childhood, sitting down at the dinner table on a Friday night, and digging into a warm dinner that his mom had just pulled out of the oven. He loved it. I didn't care for it all that much, because I know its such a fattening dinner, but I love cooking for my husband and making him smile.

- Brown your ground meat, and drain.
- Sautee onions and mix into the ground meat.
- Spray a small baking dish (I used a small loaf pan) with cooking spray, and spread ground meat mixture evenly on the bottom.
- Spread the mixed frozen veggies on top of the ground beef.
- Next, top off the veggies with the cream of mushroom soup.
- On top of the soup, layer the cheese.
- Lastly, top of the cheese with the tater tots.
- I probably used more than 2 cups of them.
- I also sprinkled some of the cheese on top of the tots.
- Bake in a 350 oven for 15 minutes, uncovered.
- After 15 minutes is up, cover the pan with foil, and bake for 15 minutes more.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- · This recipe originally called for 1 can of cut up tomatoes, and for the tomatoes to be layered on top of the vegetables, and the soup and tater tots on top of that.
- I left it out because I don't like tomatoes, but I know others might like to add that in there.
