COPYCAT TEXAS ROADHOUSE ROLLS WITH CINNAMON HONEY BUTTER
Steps:
- In the bottom of your stand mixer bowl, add yeast and 1 tsp sugar to 1/4 cup warm water. Allow yeast to proof, or double in size, which takes about 5 minutes.
- Place milk in microwave for 45 seconds. Add the butter to the milk and stir until it is completely melted. Allow milk to cool until it is lukewarm.
- Once the yeast has doubled, add the milk to the yeast mixture. Add sugar and about half of the flour until it reaches a muffin batter. Let rest for 10 minutes.
- Add egg and salt to the mixture. Mix well. Add remaining flour to form a soft dough. Knead the dough until it is smooth and satiny.
- Cover and let rise until it doubles in size. Once it has doubled, punch the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Lightly flour a surface and roll the dough into a large rectangle, about a 1/2 inch thick. Cut the rectangle in half, and then cut each half into 6 square pieces with a pizza cutter.
- Place on a greased baking sheet and allow to rise until double in size.
- Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
- To make the honey butter, whip together butter, powdered sugar, honey, and cinnamon and serve on warm rolls.

Texas roadhouse has the best rolls and i was craving some. After a bit of searching I found this recipe and edited it a little.Usually I half the recipe. Enjoy :)

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Soften yeast in warm water with a teaspoon of sugar.
- Scald milk; cool to lukewarm.
- Add yeast, sugar, honey, and enough flour to make medium batter.
- Beat thoroughly. Let stand until light and foamy.
- Add melted butter (after allowed to cool), eggs, and salt. Beat well.
- Add enough flour to form soft dough.
- Sprinkle small amount of flour on counter and let dough rest.
- Grease the surface of a clean bowl. Knead dough until smooth and satiny
- Then put dough in greased bowl; turn over to grease top.
- Cover, let rise in warm place until double in bulk, then punch down.
- Turn out on floured board. Divide into portions for shaping; let rest 10 minutes.
- Shape dough into desired forms and place on greased baking sheets. Let rise until doubled.
- Bake for 10 minutes; then reduce temperature to 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes more.
- Cool on rack.
- For cinnamon butter, blend all ingredients at room tempature.

- Stir together water, yeast, and 1 teaspoon of the sugar in a small bowl; let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes. Place 1/4 cup of the butter in a small microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH until melted, about 25 seconds.
- Combine melted butter, yeast mixture, milk, eggs, salt, and remaining 1/4 cup sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a dough hook. Beat on medium-low until well combined, about 10 seconds. With mixer running on medium-low, gradually add flour, beating until all flour is incorporated. Continue kneading until dough is smooth and elastic, about 4 minutes. (Dough will be sticky.) Transfer to a large lightly greased bowl; cover with plastic wrap; let rise in a warm place (80° to 85°) until doubled in volume, about 1 1/2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 375°F with racks in top and lower thirds. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper, and lightly coat parchment with cooking spray. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured work surface. Lightly sprinkle top of dough with flour, and gently pat into a 14- x 8-inch rectangle (about 1/2-inch thick). Cut into 15 (about 2 1/2 -inch) squares; arrange on prepared baking sheets, leaving 1 1/2-inches in between each square. Cover loosely with plastic wrap; let rise in a warm place (80° to 85°) until increased in volume, about 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, beat together honey, cinnamon, and remaining 1/2 cup butter with electric mixer on medium-high until well combined and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Set aside.
