TERIYAKI RANCH CHICKEN BAKE (CHICKEN BREAST RECIPE)
Teriyaki ranch chicken bake is quick chicken breast recipe made with teriyaki sauce, ranch dressing, bacon, cheddar cheese and green onion.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350ºF
- Fry bacon strips until crisp and crumble them into small pieces. Set aside.
- Saute chicken breasts in the bacon grease until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Pour Teriyaki sauce and ranch dressing over the chicken. Sprinkle cheddar cheese, bacon pieces and 1/2 of green onion on top of chicken.
- Bake for about 20-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Sprinkle the remaining green onion over the chicken to garnish. Serve hot with rice or mashed potatoes

I got the idea of combining teriyaki and ranch from a recipe on another recipe site. I decided to use the crackers to test my theory that anything tastes good if coated in cheesy crumbs.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix teriyaki and ranch dressing in a large ziploc bag, add chicken breasts and marinate- at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Remove from marinade and dredge in cracker crumbs.
- Place coated breasts in small baking dish; bake approximately 30 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.

- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the cornstarch, cold water, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger and ground black pepper. Let simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens and bubbles.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Place chicken pieces in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Brush chicken with the sauce. Turn pieces over, and brush again.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Turn pieces over, and bake for another 30 minutes, until no longer pink and juices run clear. Brush with sauce every 10 minutes during cooking.

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Combine the first 10 ingredients in a bowl.
- Place chicken pieces in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken and turn to thoroughly coat.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Turn pieces over, and bake for another 10 minutes, until no longer pink and juices run clear.
- Spoon sauce over chicken and serve.
- ***If using bone-in chicken breasts, bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes. If using boneless chicken breasts, bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.

- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Brush each chicken breast on both sides with the teriyaki sauce.
- Arrange them in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Carefully spoon ranch dressing over each chicken breast. (About 1/8 cup on top of each piece of chicken.)
- Bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.
- Sprinkle cheese on each chicken breast. Add crumbled bacon and green onions on top.
- Stick back in the oven for about 5-7 minutes to melt the cheese and heat the bacon all the way through.

- Mix breadcrumbs and ranch seasoning.
- Melt about 3 T. butter, dip chicken in butter to coat, dredge in breadcrumb mixture.
- Place in greased 9x13 pan, cut remaining butter and distribute evenly over chicken breasts.

- *Note, I don't put that much butter on top and it still tastes great*.
