Tequila And Grapefruit Cooler Food

PALOMA

Steps:

• Rub a lime wedge around the edge of a highball glass, and dip the rim in salt (optional).
• Add the tequila and lime juice to the glass, and fill with ice.
• Top with grapefruit soda, and stir briefly and gently to combine.
• Garnish with a lime wheel.

LA PALOMA COOLER

Steps:

• Rub rim of a highball glass with lime wedge; invert glass in a small dish of coarse salt, twisting to coat rim. Fill glass halfway with ice, 1 teaspoon lime juice, and 1 ounce platinum tequila, then top with Mexican grapefruit soda. Stir. Place cored-out lime half in drink and fill with tequila (try a reposado for added flavor).

TEQUILA AND GRAPEFRUIT JUICE

Steps:

• Fill a highball glass with ice. Add tequila and juice, then top with soda water and garnish with a wedge of lime.

TEQUILA AND GRAPEFRUIT COOLER

Steps:

• Moisten the top of a tall (about 10 or 12 ounce) glass with lime juice and dip in a saucer of salt to rim the glass. Fill the glass half full of ice cubes. Pour in the tequila and grapefruit soda. PALOMA COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Fill a highball glass two-thirds full with ice. Slowly pour in about 2 oz. grapefruit soda, filling glass about one-third full. Add 1½ oz. blanco tequila, ½ oz. lime juice, ¼ oz. grapefruit juice, and a pinch of kosher salt. Top with remaining grapefruit soda, stir gently, and garnish with a grapefruit wedge or slice.
