Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- Rim a chilled margarita glass with Tajin: wet the rim with a piece of citrus fruit, then roll rim in a small dish of chili powder.
- In a blender , combine tequila, orange liqueur, tamarind nectar, simple syrup, and crushed ice.
- Blend until smooth .
- Pour into prepared glass and garnish with lime wheel.

Tamarind spiced with coriander is simmered into a rich syrup, making it a true delight in this juicy no-alcohol drink. Fresh pineapple and coconut water add to the tropical cocktail-like vibes. It's best enjoyed reclining at the beach or just pretending you're at one.

- Add the diced pineapple to a 14-ounce Collins glass and muddle with a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon until it becomes a juicy pulp. Top with a big scoop of ice cubes then add the coconut water and tamarind syrup. Stir together then garnish the glass with the pineapple wedge and enjoy.
- Crack each tamarind pod to remove the pulp then discard the shells and stringy fibers. Combine the tamarind pulp, brown sugar, coriander seeds and 2 cups water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Lower the heat to medium and cook at a rapid simmer, stirring frequently to help break up the pulp and prevent the sugar from scorching, until the pulp is loosened from the seeds, 25 to 30 minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a heat-safe glass jar; discard the solids. Let cool to room temperature then cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Makes about 1 cup.

- Rub the rim of a glass with lime and dip in Tajín. Combine 1 1/2 ounces reposado tequila (such as El Jimador), 1 1/2 ounces tamarind puree, 1/2 ounce agave nectar and 1/4 ounce fresh lime juice in a shaker with ice; shake until cold. Fill the prepared glass with ice, then strain the drink into the glass. Garnish with a lime slice.
TAMARIND MARGARITA
Steps:
- Combine the fruit powder seasoning, salt and sugar in a shallow dish. Pour 1/4 cup water into a second shallow dish. Dip the rim of your glasses into the water first, and then into the fruit powder mixture to rim the glass. Place large ice cubes into a cocktail shaker, and then add the tequila, lime juice, raw sugar and orange liqueur. Shake well. Spoon the tamarind puree into the bottom of each glass, fill with ice cubes and pour the margarita mixture over. Serve with lime wedges.

- Rim a cocktail or margarita glass with cinnamon sugar: Wet the rim with a piece of lime, then roll the rim in a small dish of ground cinnamon and granulated sugar.
- In a blender, add the tequila, tamarind nectar, pineapple and lime juices, and ice.
- Blend until smooth .
- Pour the drink into the prepared glass.
- Serve and enjoy.
