1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 envelope taco seasoning
1/2 cup butter, melted
1-3/4 cups crushed corn chips
2-1/2 pounds chicken wingettes and drummettes

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a shallow bowl, mix flour and taco seasoning. Place melted butter and corn chips in separate shallow bowls. Dip wings in flour mixture to coat both sides; shake off excess. , Dip in butter, then in crumb mixture, patting to help coating adhere., Transfer to a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake, uncovered, 30-40 minutes or until juices run clear.

3 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce, divided
4 pounds fresh or frozen chicken wingettes, thawed
1 cup ranch salad dressing

Steps:

  • In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the taco seasoning, oil, vinegar and 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce; add chicken. Seal bag and turn to coat., Grill chicken, covered, over medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until juices run clear, turning occasionally. , In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing and remaining hot pepper sauce. Serve with chicken.

1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 package Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix
2 lb chicken wings (12)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. In large roasting pan, melt butter in oven.
  • In large resealable food-storage plastic bag, mix flour and taco seasoning mix. Add chicken wings, a few at a time; shake to coat evenly. Place chicken in pan, turning each to coat with butter.
  • Bake 35 minutes or until juice of chicken is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (165°F).

It's just not a party without wings. Give these Tex-Mex chicken wings a try, using Old El Paso™ chicken taco seasoning mix and a green hot sauce-ranch mixture for dipping. Game day has never tasted so good.

1/2 cup ranch dressing
1 tablespoon green hot sauce
1/3 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
2 packages (0.85 oz each) Old El Paso™ chicken taco seasoning mix
3 lb chicken wingettes and drummettes, patted dry
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425°F. Line 18x12-inch rimmed sheet pan with foil. Place rack on top of foil. Spray rack and foil generously with cooking spray. In small bowl, stir together ranch dressing and hot sauce; cover and refrigerate.
  • In gallon-size resealable food-storage plastic bag, mix flour and taco seasoning mixes. Add chicken to bag; seal, and shake to coat chicken. Place in single layer on rack. Discard any remaining flour mixture. Brush both sides of chicken with melted butter.
  • Bake 25 minutes. Turn chicken. Bake 18 to 22 minutes longer or until juice of chicken is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (at least 165°F). Transfer to serving platter, and sprinkle with cilantro. Serve with dressing.

3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 -4 teaspoons hot pepper sauce, divided
4 lbs chicken wings
1 cup ranch salad dressing

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the taco seasoning, oil, vinegar and 2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce; add chicken. Seal bag and turn to coat.
  • Place chicken in a baking sheet. Bake covered, 15-20 minutes. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer or until juices run clear, turning occasionally. In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing and remaining hot pepper sauce. Serve with chicken. Yield: about 2-1/2 dozen.

1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning mix
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup corn chips, crushed

Steps:

  • In a plastic bag, combine flour and taco seasoning mix. Add 2-3 pieces at a time, shake to coat.
  • Melt butter in a 15 1/2 X 10 1/2 X 1-inch baking pan, turning once to butter surfaces, then roll in corn chips and return to pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
