STRAWBERRY YUMYUM
I received this recipe from my mother in law. I have never had any left over but I'm sure it would be delicious the next day as well. It's an easy elegant dessert to take to a potluck and looks especially festive in a trifle bowl.

Steps:
- 1. Tear angelfood cake in small pieces. Place a single layer in the bottom of your bowl.
- 2. cover with a layer of vanilla pudding
- 3. add a layer of strawberries and glaze
- 4. add a layer of Whipped topping
- 5. repeat layers and garnish with sliced strawberries
- 6. Refrigerate till ready to serve. I often make this a day ahead of time and it is very delicious.

STRAWBERRY YUM YUM CAKE
This fabulous cake is made for special occasions. I had lost the recipe for years, but recently found it again. I got the recipe on line many years ago, don't know where. Whenever I do take it to family get togethers, everyone wants the recipe.

Steps:
- Separate eggs and beat whites till stiff. Combine rest of ingredients including egg yolk and beat well. Fold in egg whites. Grease 3 9 inch cake pans and divide mixture between them.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
- Frosting: Cream butter and cream cheese. Add sugars, blend well. Then add vanilla and fold in Cool Whip.
- Cut strawberries into slices, reserve some for top.
- When cake is cool, layer with frosting then strawberries.
- REFRIGERATE cake OVERNIGHT or it will be a total flop!

- In a large bowl mix instant pudding with yogurt. Blending in the pudding really well.
- Add cool whip, strawberries and pineapple. Stir all together well.
- Pour into large service bowl and chill overnight or several hours before serving.
- I like to top with some strawberries sliced in half.

- Preheat the oven to 350°. Crush the Lorna Doone cookies and reserve about 1/2 cup of the crumbs for the topping. Mix the cookie crumbs with the melted butter. Press them into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 5 minutes and then cool completely.
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth. Add 1 container of the thawed whipped topping and fold to combine. Once thoroughly combined, spread the mixture over the cooled crust.
- Drop dollops of the strawberry pie filling over the cream cheese layer and spread carefully. Top with the remaining container of whipped topping and sprinkle with the reserved crushed cookies. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
