Strawberry Pineapple Salad Food

PINEAPPLE STRAWBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Optionally refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight for best flavors.

STRAWBERRY-PINEAPPLE SALAD

Steps:

• Prepare topping with milk and vanilla according to package directions on box and chill.
• Cream together cream cheese and sugar.
• Add pineapple and nuts.
• Fold in whipped topping then fold in strawberries.
• Chill 3 hours.
• Garnish with whole strawberrys.

PAN-SEARED GROUPER WITH SPRING PINEAPPLE AND STRAWBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• Place fish, Cajun spice, lime juice and cilantro in mixing bowl and allow ingredients to marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Place flour on a cookie sheet, seasoning the flour with 1 teaspoon of Cajun spice and salt/pepper. Roll fish in flout creating a nice even coat. Shake off excess flour. Warm olive oil over medium heat in a non-stick pan. Once oil is hot, place fish side down for 3 minutes, flip fish and complete the same process. Remove fish from oil, placing on a rack to remove excess oil. Place fish on plate and garnish with salad.
• In a large mixing bowl mix all ingredients together. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Toss with mixed greens. Serve alongside fish or any spring time poultry.

FROZEN STRAWBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• Drain pineapple.
• In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and cream cheese.
• Add the strawberries and pineapple.
• fold in the cool whip.
• Freeze in a 9 x 13 pan or in cupcake liners.
• To serve: Thaw the 9 x 13 pan for about 20 minutes.
• Cut into squares and serve.
• My kids eat the cupcake size ones still frozen- they are like a popsicle.

MOLDED STRAWBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. Add strawberries and pineapple. Strain, reserving liquid and fruit. Set aside 1 cup of the liquid at room temperature. , Pour fruit and remaining liquid into a 5-cup ring mold or 9-in. square pan that has been coated with cooking spray. Cover and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. , Whisk sour cream and reserved liquid; pour over top of gelatin. Cover and refrigerate until set. , Slice and place on individual plates, or unmold onto a serving platter. Garnish with lettuce and strawberries if desired.

STRAWBERRY CRANBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• Open and drain all liquid from pineapple.
• In casserole dish fix Jell-o with hot water only, stir until dissolved.
• Add can of cranberry sauce (I use a whisk to help break it up and remove from can).
• Gently stir until thoroughly mixed.
• Add pineapple, stir.
• Cut whole strawberries into halves or quarters, gently stir berries into jell-o mixture.
• Cover and refrigerate until set, usually a few hours.
• As salad sets out some watering effect will occur, but not harmful.
• Cooking time is refrigeration time.

STRAWBERRY/PINEAPPLE PRETZEL SALAD (PAULA DEEN/FOOD NETWORK)

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400°.
• For the crust, mix the pretzels, butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar.
• Press this mixture into a 9 by 13-inch pan and bake for 7 minutes.
• Set aside and allow to cool.
• In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and 3/4 cup of sugar.
• Fold in the whipped topping, and spread over the cooled crust.
• Refrigerate until well chilled.
• In a small bowl, dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water, and allow to cool slightly.
• Add the strawberries and pineapple, and pour over the cream cheese mixture.
• Refrigerate until serving time.
• To serve, cut slices and serve with a dollop of whipped topping.

FROZEN STRAWBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• Combine cream cheese and sugar in a bowl; add strawberries and pineapple. Fold in the whipped topping.
• Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour the strawberry mixture into the loaf pan.
• Place in the freezer until firm, about 6 hours. Set loaf pan in a warm water bath to loosen. Flip mixture onto a cutting board to remove; cut into slices.
