Strawberry Jello Shots Food

STRAWBERRY JELLO SHOTS

Steps:

• Add jello mix to a medium-sized bowl. Stir in boiling water, and mix for 2 minutes, or until Jello is fully dissolved.
• Stir in cold water and vodka. Allow to cool for 20 minutes at room temperature. Pour into containers and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours (or overnight).
• Top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries before serving, if desired.

STRAWBERRY MARGERITA JELLO SHOTS

Steps:

• Cut the bottom of the strawberry just enough so it can stand up straight. Make sure you don't cut too far up or else you will create a hole in the bottom of the strawberry, and the jello will seep out. Cut the top of the strawberry straight across, and then hull out the inside using a huller or melon baller. Try not to scoop too far down or you will hit the bottom and create a hole for the jello to seep out.
• Add the boiling water to the jello packet and stir for 2 minutes to allow sugar to dissolve.
• Shake the Cointreau and Tequila with ice then add the cold water. Add the cold mixture to the hot mixture and stir well. Using a funnel, slowly pour the jello into the hulled strawberries. Fill all the way to the top.
• Refrigerate the strawberries overnight.
• Before serving, rim the top of the strawberries with salt or sugar. You can do this by dipping your finger in water than then lining the top edge of the strawberries lighly in the salt or sugar.
• Top sith a slice of lime, and enjoy!
• These shots do contain alcohol so don't forget to drink responsibly. :).

STRAWBERRY, BANANA, RUM JELLO SHOTS

Steps:

• Dissolve jello in boiling water completely, stir in rum.
• Pour into 2 ounce shot glasses 3/4 of the way up.
• Chill till set and serve.

STRAWBERRY PRETZEL JELLO SHOTS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x11-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine pretzel crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar and melted butter. Press into baking dish in an even layer. Bake until slightly firm, about 12-15 minutes. Set on a wire rack to cool completely.
• In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar on medium speed until smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Remove from the stand and fold in 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip topping. Spread in an even layer over the pretzel crust and refrigerate.
• Place Jello in a medium bowl and pour over boiling water. Whisk until jello has dissolved, about 2 minutes. Stir in the cold water and vodka. Let cool to room temperature, then pour over the cream cheese layer. Add the sliced strawberries on top. Refrigerate until jello is set, about 6-8 hours.
• Cut into 1-inch squares. Place remaining 1 cup Cool Whip is a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe dollops on the squares and top with chopped strawberries.

STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI JELLO SHOT

Steps:

• Bring water to a rolling boil, then remove from heat.
• Stir together boiling water and powdered gelatin in a mixing bowl. Stir constantly until gelatin is completely dissolved.
• Stir in cold water and alcohol.
• Pour mixture into ,individual shot-size (1oz-2oz) plastic or paper cups. ****To make the Jello easier to consume, buy plastic cups that also have lids. Pour the mix into the cup, add the lid, then turn it upside down prior to refrigeration.
• Place shots on a tray in refrigerator (not the freezer). Chill until firm (approximately 2-4 hours). Refrigerate until served.
