Strawberry Feta Spinach Salad With Pine Nuts Food

SPINACH AND STRAWBERRY SALAD WITH FETA CHEESE

Steps:

• Toss strawberries, spinach, and feta cheese together in a large bowl.
• Whisk olive oil, brown sugar, white balsamic vinegar, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and paprika together in a bowl; drizzle over salad and toss to coat.

DELICIOUS EASY SPINACH AND STRAWBERRY SALAD WITH FETA

Steps:

• In a large bowl toss the spinach with the strawberries and toasted almonds.
• In another small bowl whisk together all dressing ingredients, starting with 1/4 cup sugar and adding in more to taste, then pour over the spinach; toss to combine.
• Sprinkle the feta over the top of salad.
• Serve immediately.

FRESH STRAWBERRY BALSAMIC VINEGAR

Steps:

• Combine strawberries and sugar in a food processor or blender and puree until runny. It's okay to have some chunks.
• Transfer strawberry mixture into a quart jar and pour in vinegar. Top jar with a lid and shake well.
• Let strawberry infusion stand for an hour or so.
• Shake vinegar once again and strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a pint jar. It will take about 10 minutes to completely drip through.Discard the strawberry solids.
• Your strawberry vinegar is now ready to use or you can cover the jar with a lid and store, refrigerated, for a few weeks.

SPINACH, STRAWBERRY AND FETA SALAD

Steps:

• Remove stems from Baby Spinach.
• Wash, hull, halve and slice Strawberries.
• Thinly slice Red Onion.
• Crumble Feta.
• Combine in a mixing bowl. Set aside.
• In a blender, or small bowl, combine Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar. I use a 2 to 1 ratio, most recipes I have read call for more olive oil and less vinegar than what I use. Mix according to your own taste. Blend for 15 seconds or whisk together.
• Pour dressing over salad and toss. You only need enough dressing to thinly coat everything. If you have extra in the bottom of the bowl leave it there lifting salad out with tongs. Drizzle any extra on a slice of crusty bread to eat with your salad.
• Plate and top with fresh ground white pepper and basil blossoms.

SPINACH, FETA AND PINE NUT SALAD

Steps:

• Place the washed spinach with the feta, onion and pine nuts in a bowl.
• Sprinkle with sherry vinegar, then drizzle with the oil, which allows the dressing to coat all the ingredients.
• Serve.

Steps:

• Whisk vinegar and olive oil in small bowl. Add basil and season with salt and pepper.
• Combine spinach or romaine and strawberries in large bowl.
• Add vinaigrette; gently toss to evenly coat. Divide salad among 4 plates. Sprinkle each salad with cheese and pine nuts.
