This is my version of the fruit salad that Furr's cafeteria is famous for. This frut salad is great to eat in the summer time, or any time for that matter.

Ingredients

1 quart fresh strawberries, halved
6 bananas, sliced
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1 (3 ounce) box strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
1/4 cup cornstarch

Steps:

Place sugar, water and corn starch in sauce pan.
Let come to a boil and stirring constantly boil until it becomes almost clear.
Add jello and let cool.
Slice strawberries and bananas and add the syrup.
a tsp of vanilla or almond flavoraing can be added.

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin powder
1 cup cold water
1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
1-3/4 cups cold milk
1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
3 medium firm bananas, sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
6 cups cubed angel food cake
2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped
Additional strawberries or banana slices, optional

Steps:

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch and gelatin; stir in water until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat. Stir in strawberries; set aside. , In a large bowl, combine milk and pudding mix. Beat on low speed for 2 minutes; set aside. Toss bananas with lemon juice; drain and set aside. , Place half of the cake cubes in a trifle bowl or 3-qt. serving bowl. Layer with half of the pudding, bananas, strawberry sauce and whipped cream. Repeat layers. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Garnish with additional fruit if desired.

TOASTED BAGEL TOPPED WITH FRESH STRAWBERRIES, KIWI AND BANANAS

Toasted Bagel Topped With Fresh Strawberries, Kiwi and Bananas image

Here's a quick and healthy breakfast to go idea. Also nice for an afternoon snack. If you wanted to you could also sprinkle some granola on top. I like to use honey wheat bagels but plain is good too.

1 bagel (half)
2 strawberries (sliced)
1 kiwi (sliced)
1/4 banana (sliced)

Steps:

Toast your 1/2 bagel in the toaster until it's toasted about medium.
Add the fruit slices on top of the toasted bagel alternating strawberry, banana then kiwi until bagel is completely filled with fruit all the way around.
