Steps:
- You'll need:.
- • 8 1/2 X 11" Photo Paper.
- • Glue stick.
- • Scissors.
- • Exacto Knife or Razor Blade.
- • Straight Edge or ruler.
- • Binder Clips.
- On a cutting board, cut out the carton pattern using the exacto knife. Write out the 'to and from' section now if you want to ensure your handwriting looks nice.
- Once the shape is cut perfectly, use the straight edge and the back of your blade to score your carton where the folds will take place. Once done, refold everything being careful not to dent any of the flat surfaces. Use the glue stick to first seal the side seam.
- Once dry and set, you can glue and fold in the top section. I used several binder clips to hold it in place until it was dry. Don't seal the bottom until you're ready to fill with candy. The better your pre-folds are done and the dryer that first seam attachment is set, the easier folding in the top will be.

Steps:
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, add gum base, Kool-Aid and corn syrup. Microwave for 30 seconds and mix. Microwave an additional 30 seconds and mix again.
- Create a pile of sugar on a non-stick surface and funnel out the center with your hand. Pour in the (very hot) gum mixture and begin to mix in sugar as it cools. Mix and twist your gum over and over until most of the sugar is incorporated. The longer you do this the chewier your gum will be. Roll out in 1/2-inch thickness and using a pizza or pastry cutter, cut into desired shape. Lightly toss in a bit of icing sugar before placing in your Valentine candy carton (recipe #530168).
BUBBLE GUM
This is one recipe I have not tried yet,I have future plans to make this with my Grandkids, but just have not had the opportunity yet. It came from a church youth group cookbook. I will only be guesstimating on the time and the amounts. UPDATE: I had a comment from a reader of this recipe, she wanted to know where she could buy "CHICKLE" I had never made this recipe, so I did not know. Since I really did want to make this recipe with my grandkids, I decided now was a good time to get the ingredient chickle for this recipe, so I went to ALL of the BIG grocery chains around southern Illinois, but they mostly didn't have a clue what it was or where I could get it. So my next step was to go online. The gum people I finally connected with and got an answer from says they cannot order this product because they have no call for it and would have to order large quantities of it and would not be able to get rid of it. They did say that there are some toy stores that have bubble gum making kits such as TOYS-R-US, and some of the other big toy stores. So, if you want to make gum with the grandkids, I guess you will have to visit the toy store because the ingredient "CHICKLE" is no longer available in the supermarkets. I am sincere!

Time 4h30m
Yield 15 Cake Pops, 15 serving(s)
Number Of Ingredients 20
Steps:
- WHAT YOU WILL NEED:.
- White cake, buttercream frosting, royal icing, shortbread, white candy melts, silver sugar beads, silver powder paint and unflavored vodka (to paint on the powder paint).
- WHITE CAKE:.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, sift flours, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In stand mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Once creamed, add egg whites.
- In a glass, whisk together vanilla and milk. Begin adding flour mixture to the butter, sugar and egg batter, alternating with the milk mixture, whisking just until incorporated.
- Mix until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.
- Pour batter into two buttered and floured 9-inch pans. Bake in preheated oven until a tester, inserted into the cake, comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
- Out of the oven, cool the pans for 10 minutes before removing from baking sheet. At which point, they should be covered and chilled until ready to use.
- BUTTERCREAM FROSTING:.
- In a stand mixer, beat room-temperature butter until fluffy.
- Add icing sugar one cup at a time. Then add whipping cream and salt and mix until combined.
- SHORTBREAD BASE:.
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a stand mixer, cream butter and powdered sugar. Add vanilla and flour and mix until dough ball forms. Roll out and cut out circular shapes, ring holes and a thin pipe shapes (as shown in photos). Place them on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake 6-8 minutes until just golden brown.
- Once cooled, assemble using royal icing. (NOTE: I used a clean Dremel tool to perfect the edges and drill-out lock and key sections of my bases. Purchasing one to using only for baking has been a great investment.).
- ASSEMBLY:.
- Remove chilled cakes from fridge. Using a serrated blade, remove every edge and brown section, leaving only the fluffy white cake interior.
- Crumb into bowl and mix in buttercream frosting. From into 2-3 inch balls and freeze on a parchment-lined sheet.
- Once frozen, take out one at a time. Using a sharp blade, slice into a ring pop diamond form and set back into freezer.
- Melt white candy melts and insert a sharpened wooden dowel into the end base of the diamond cake ball and dip it into the melted candy melts. Tap gently until all excess has dripped off and have a toothpick handy to pierce any air bubbles.
- Stick base of wooden dowel in a foam carton so the diamond won't be disturbed.
- Once set, remove from wooden dowel. Using a little melting chocolate, adhere it to the shortbread cookie base. Once set and firm, chill for another 10 minutes and decorate with royal icing, sugar beads and silver powder paint.
- (NOTE: I worked with each one at a time and kept whatever I wasn't working on in the fridge for ensured rigidity of the diamond.).

- Mike's maple syrup-topped scrambled eggs. The first episode of the series introduces many of the main characters while they all get ready to start their seemingly normal days.
- Hopper's glazed donut and a cup of coffee. Hawkins police chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) is clearly a fan of cigarettes and booze, but he's also happy to indulge in the donut and coffee combo that's stereotypical of many small town cops in TV shows and movies.
- Eleven's first french fry. Later in the episode, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) escapes from Hawkins National Laboratory and comes across a local fast food joint, Benny's Burgers.
- A (tense) family dinner at home. Later that night, the members of the Wheeler family sit around their kitchen table again, this time for dinner. Karen's serving a classic comfort-food meal of chicken, tater tots and mixed veggies (peas, carrots and corn, to be specific), plus dinner rolls and iced tea.
- A quart of strawberry ice cream. Back at Benny's, Eleven is eating strawberry ice cream from a quart-sized carton while Benny washes dishes. He gets her to smile for the first time, but then there's a knock at the door.
- A pocket Eggo waffle. If you're familiar with any one food from "Stranger Things," chances are it's the frozen Eggo waffles that are a favorite of Eleven's.
- Meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The Wheeler family sit down for yet another dinner, this time joined by Dustin and Lucas. Their plates contain meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans, and there are more dinner rolls on the table.
- Classic candies and snacks. The third episode of season one features familiar brands, some of them in vintage packaging. In preparation for "Operation Mirkwood," an attempt to rescue Will, Dustin packs a bag of supplies — Nutty Bars, Bazooka bubble gum, Pez, Smarties, Pringles, Nilla Wafers, an apple and trail mix.
- Coca-Cola. Later in the episode, Eleven sees a Coca-Cola commercial while flipping through TV channels. The distinctive red and white can triggers a flashback: we see her back in the lab, hooked up to wires while scientists watch her through a window.
- The condolence casserole. Meanwhile, a very disheveled looking Joyce is hanging strands and strands of Christmas lights around the house. She didn't just go a little overboard with the holiday decorations, though.

STRANGER THINGS PARTY FOOD - GREAT MEMORIES THE EASY WAY
From mytuesdaytherapy.com
Estimated Reading Time 6 mins
- Vinyl Record Cake. A vinyl record stack cake! Well, I guess this is little strange… but so cool! I’m not gifted at cake decorating so mine would not look like that!
- Christmas Lights Cupcakes. We used chocolate syrup for the light strings but I’m thinking frosting might have worked better. Next time… You can make all sorts of Christmas lights desserts from cupcakes and cookies to candy coated strawberries.
- Cupcake Toppers. With a fun topper any cake or cupcake becomes Stranger Things dessert. I love the cake idea too! The waffle pieces on whipped cream swirls.
- Demogorgon Strawberries. A fun idea from Not Quite Nigella: demogorgon strawberries! Who could resits strawberries and chocolate! And these actually look really delicious and not like a yucky demogorgon.
- Popcorn Mix. Everyone likes popcorn! We go through a ton of popcorn in our family and every now and then have to replace the popcorn maker… they do wear out.
- Coca-Cola. Our beverage options were coca cola and water. You could of course come up with other things like “Demogorgon’s blood”… Just make a cute label for a juice bottle and you’re all set.
- Cocktail and Waffles. Obviously, this Stranger Things cocktail from Food Fanatic is for adults only but you could make one for kids by using ginger ale or apple juice!
- Candy, candy, candy. Serve a variety of popular candies from the 80’s! Our party was soon after Halloween so we served whatever was left from the Trick or Treat trip.
- Waffle Bar. I’m not sure if you can have a Stranger Things party without a waffle bar. Waffle bar is quite easy especially if you serve Eggos. Have a couple of toasters ready for heating up the waffles and several awesome topping choices for making amazing waffle creations.
- Eggo Sliders. What else can you do with waffles? Eleven’s Eggo Sliders from 2 Geeks Who Eat! A fun, easy savory option to satisfy the salt craving.
