Steps:
- Spray a large slow cooker with nonstick spray.
- Combine all of the ingredients in a slow cooker. Stir to combine briefly (while the potatoes are still cold not everything will be coated, but it will as they cook and you stir later)
- Cook on high 3-4 hours, stirring every hour if possible. Check after 3 hours to see if they are done. When the potatoes are fork tender, they're done!
- Serve hot, enjoy!

Easy spicy potatoes using unique spices all thrown into a slow cooker! No pre-cooking anything! This recipe is a modified version of an old Sri Lankan spicy potatoes recipe, but is for all tastes! This recipe goes well with curried chicken and rice.

Steps:
- Pour olive oil into the bottom of a slow cooker. Layer onion slices over the oil. Add green chile peppers, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, sugar, garlic, salt, and pepper. Layer potatoes on top, seasoning each layer with a sprinkle of salt and red pepper flakes.
- Cook on High until potatoes are tender, 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Stir gently before serving.

My mind is blown by how simple making Crockpot Red Potatoes can be...and the sky is the limit with flavors. This recipe is amazing as a side dish to almost any meal...such a great weeknight option.

- Spray a large slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- Place all the ingredients in a large slow cooker. Stir to combine slightly. While the potatoes are cold they won't coat completely and that's totally fine.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours or until the potatoes are fork tender. (NOTE: Check the potatoes after 1 hour and stir to make sure all the potatoes are coated fully. Check again after 2.5 hours and make sure they aren't done. Depending on the size of the potatoes, they could cook a bit quicker)
- Serve hot, enjoy!

SLOW-COOKER SPICED SWEET POTATOES WITH PECANS
Candied sweet potatoes have long been a celebrated side dish during the holiday season but we have removed some of the sweetness (no marshmallows!) and made them even easier by cooking them in a slow cooker. We cut the potatoes into thick rounds so they hold up during the cooking process. The resulting tender sweet potatoes glazed with butter and spices are just sweet enough to make them the perfect accompaniment to your favorite poultry or pork dish.

- Position an oven rack in the middle of the oven and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Stir together the dark brown sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a small bowl. Stir together the melted butter and vanilla extract in another small bowl.
- Toss the sweet potatoes with the cornstarch in a large mixing bowl. Put 1 layer of the sweet potatoes on the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker. Drizzle with a third of the butter mixture then sprinkle with a third of the brown sugar mixture. Repeat to make 2 more layers. (If there are not enough sweet potatoes to make a complete third layer, that is okay.)
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low until the sweet potatoes are tender but not mushy, about 4 hours.
- Meanwhile, spread the pecans out on a baking sheet and bake until very golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool and finely chop.
- When the sweet potatoes are tender, gently stir in the orange juice. Transfer the potatoes to a shallow serving dish and allow to sit for 10 minutes (the sauce will thicken as it sits). Toss the potatoes in the sauce to coat, sprinkle with the chopped pecans and serve.

Steps:
- For the potatoes, preheat the oven to 220C/425F/Gas 7.
- Cut the potatoes into 2-3cm/1in squared cubes. Bring a pan of salted water to the boil and blanch the potatoes for 2-3 minutes to begin cooking. Drain well.
- Heat the oil in a large roasting tray on the hob and add the potatoes, tossing to coat in oil until browned. Season well.
- Roast in the oven for 40-50 minutes until crisp and golden and cooked through.
- Once roasted, add the spices to the oil.
- Toss potatoes in the tempered spices and serve.
