Spicy Lemonade Food

SPICY HOLIDAY LEMONADE

Steps:

• In a large container with a fitted lid, combine the vodka, Pimm's, lemon and lime juices, honey, hot sauce and 1 scant teaspoon pepper. Cover and shake to blend. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
• Fill a pitcher with ice and the lemon and lime slices. Shake the chilled vodka mixture and pour into the pitcher. Using a long wooden spoon, stir to blend while adding the lemon-lime soda. Taste. You may find you want to add another splash of vodka. Pour into tall glasses.

SPICED LEMONADE

Steps:

• Put the fennel seeds and star anise into a small skillet and toast for 15 seconds. Grind to a powder in an electric spice grinder. Place the spice mix, 2 cups water, the ice, sugar, ginger, lemon juice and mint leaves into a blender and pulse until the ice is crushed. Serve cold.

SPICY LEMONADE WITH JALAPEñO ICE CUBES

Steps:

• For the jalapeñoice cubes: Place a jalapeño slice in each well of 2 ice cube trays. Fill with water and freeze until solid, about 4 hours.
• For the lemonade: In a beverage dispenser or pitcher, add the lemonade, jalapeño slices and lemon slices. Let sit, refrigerated, for at least 1 hour before serving.
• Serve in glasses filled with jalapeño ice cubes.

SPICY LEMONADE

Steps:

• Combine 1 1/2 cups vodka, 1/2 cup Pimm's No. 1, 1 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/2 cup each lime juice and honey, 2 teaspoons hot sauce and 1 scant teaspoon coarsely ground pepper in a large container. Cover and shake, then refrigerate at least 1 hour. Shake the vodka mixture again, then pour into a pitcher filled with ice and lemon and lime slices. Stir in 1 cup chilled lemon-lime soda.

SWEET AND SPICY CAYANNE LEMONADE

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher.
• Chill.
• To serve, stir up the lemonade in order to disperse the cayenne pepper.
• Note: This is not a hard and fast recipe. Add more or less of anything according to your tastes.

HOT SPICED LEMONADE

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
• Simmer 20 minutes to blend flavors.
• Remove cinnamon sticks before serving hot lemonade in a mug.

SPICY LEMONADE

Steps:

• Gently stir club soda, rum, lemonade concentrate, lemon juice, and hot sauce together in a pitcher. Pour into glasses filled with crushed ice to serve.
