- In a 4-quart pan, heat water to boil Cook the green beans for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain in a colander and run cold water over the green beans immediately to stop the cooking process In a frying pan, add olive oil, onions, cashews, salt, pepper, and paprika Cook for 2 minutes over medium heat Add the green beans and cook for another 4 minutes Sprinkle parsley on top and serve

- Add the oil and butter to a skillet over medium-high heat. When the butter is melted and hot, add the green beans and bell pepper and toss to coat. Add the red pepper flakes and some salt and toss again. Cook, stirring frequently, until the beans are crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.

- Combine green beans and water in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender crisp, 4 to 5 minutes. Add ginger, garlic, and sesame oil; cook, stirring frequently, until garlic is lightly browned, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and red pepper flakes together in a small bowl. Pour over beans and cook until sauce thickens enough to coat beans, 3 to 5 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 375°. Cut stem ends off unpeeled garlic cloves. Place cloves on a piece of foil. Drizzle with 2 teaspoons oil; wrap in foil. Bake 25-30 minutes or until cloves are soft. - Place green beans in a pot of boilling water and cook for 5 minutes.
- Drain beans and immediately place in a bowl of ice-cold water, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat for 30 seconds.
- Add onions, cashews, salt and pepper.
- Stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until onions are softened.
- Add the cooked green beans, raise heat to high, stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until beans feel hot to the touch.
