2 (10 ounce) jet-puffed brand marshmallows
12 cups kellogg's rice krispies cereal

Steps:

  • On stovetop, melt butter on low.
  • Once butter is completely melted, add 80 marshmallows.
  • Continue to stir and melt on low until all marshmallows have melted.
  • Once marshmallows are melted, turn stovetop heat off and stir in rice krispies.
  • Stir well until all rice krispies are completely coated.
  • Transfer into a greased 9x13 pan.
  • Let set for about a minute, then press into pan.

6 cups Rice Krispies (generic works fine)

Steps:

  • Melt margarine in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Melt in marshmallows and stir continuously until smooth.
  • Add vanilla (be careful it doesn't splash on you).
  • Without removing from heat, add cereal. Stir until cereal is completely covered with marshmallow mixture.
  • Pour into a greased (spray Pam works great) 9x13 pan. Let cool 2 minutes. Press flat with greased hands. Cool completely and cut into squares. Enjoy!

6 Cups Gluten Free Rice Krispies, Kelloggs Rice Krispies are NOT Gluten Free in post that are.
4 Cups Mini Marshmallows
Gluten Free Sprinkles, optional

Steps:

  • Measure 6 cups of gluten free Rice Krispies into a medium bowl and put off to the side.
  • In a large microwave safe bowl, melt 4-5 Tablespoons of Butter on high for about 1 minute, just until it is melted.
  • Once the butter has melted, add 4 heaping cups of mini marshmallows to the bowl and stir to coat with a silicone spatula.
  • Microwave on high in 30 second intervals stirring each time until the marshmallows and butter are totally incorporated into each other. The mixture should be smooth.
  • Quickly fold the Rice Krispies into the marshmallow mixture and spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Add sprinkles, if desired.
  • Chill for 15 minutes for the treats to set up. Then remove from fridge, cut into squares and store covered at room temperature.

2 (10oz)(283g) bags mini marshmallows
8 cups (240g) crispy rice cereal
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
¼-½ teaspoon salt (yes, salt. Just do it)

Steps:

  • Line a 9x13 baking pan with foil or parchment paper. Coat with extra butter; set aside.
  • In a large pot melt the 8 tablespoons butter over low heat. Stir in the marshmallows and continue stirring until most of the marshmallows are melted. (I like to leave plenty that aren't fully melted for pockets of gooey marshmallow throughout the treats!)
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and salt. Stir in the cereal until completely coated.
  • Spoon into prepared pan and with well-buttered hands press into an even layer. Let cool at least 30 minutes before cutting.

16 ounces Mini Marshmallows (10 cups or 1 large bag)
7 cups Rice Krispie Cereal
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
8 ounces chocolate melting wafers (either white chocolate or regular chocolate)
Valentine's Day sprinkles or candy

Steps:

  • Line a 9" x 13" pan with parchment paper. Make sure to leave a 1/2 inch overhang, so removing them is easy.
  • Measure all your ingredients first because the recipe comes together quickly.
  • Melt the butter over medium-low heat in a large pot. Add the marshmallows, continually stirring, just until the marshmallows are melted. If using vanilla extract, add it to the mixture after melting the marshmallows.
  • Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal. Quickly but gently, fold the mixture to coat it evenly.
  • Spread the mixture into your prepared baking pan. Using a spatula that's been coated with non-stick cooking spray, gently press and spread the mixture evenly to all corners of the pan. Let the mixture sit for 30-60 minutes to harden before making hearts.
  • Remove the Rice Krispies Treats from the pan using parchment paper. Use your heart-shaped cookie cutter sprayed with non-stick cooking spray to cut out as many hearts that will fit.
  • Melt your chocolate per the package instructions or in the microwave at 30-second intervals until smooth. Then, dip, drizzle, or frost each heart and while the chocolate is still warm, top with sprinkles.

3 tablespoons salted butter
Green food coloring
6 cups rice krispie cereal
Sprinkles of your choice
14 pretzel sticks

Steps:

  • Grease a 9x13 baking pan. Set aside.
  • Melt the marshmallows and butter in a large saucepan.
  • Remove from heat and stir several drops of green food coloring until you achieve the shade of green you'd like. (Keep in mind that the shade will look slightly lighter after adding in the rice krispie cereal).
  • Stir in the rice krispie cereal until evenly coated.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Add an even layer of sprinkles across the top of the rice krispies.

10 cups crispy rice cereal
Flaky sea salt (optional but heavily encouraged)

Steps:

  • Line a 9x9 or 9x13 baking sheet pan with parchment paper. (9x9 will result in a thicker treat, 9x13 will be slightly more thin)
  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium-low heat. It will melt first, and then foam. After it foams, it will start to turn brown and smell nutty. Watch closely and stir often.
  • As SOON as the butter is golden brown, stir in marshmallows. Melt and stir until the mixture is smooth.
  • Turn off heat, add cereal and mix carefully. Pour into the prepared pan and press down lightly. Sprinkle with flaky salt to finish. Let cool and cut into squares or bars.
