4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped cucumbers
3 oz. smoked salmon, cut into thin strips
2 tsp. chopped fresh dill
1 pkg. (9 oz.) refrigerated cheese tortellini, cooked, drained (2-1/2 cups)

Steps:

  • Place cream cheese and milk in medium saucepan; cook on low heat 5 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently.
  • Add cucumbers, salmon and dill; mix well. Cook 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  • Toss with the hot tortellini.

Creamy Salmon Tortellini image

A delicious creamy salmon tortellini recipe! This salmon pasta is a super easy dinner that you can make in less than 30 minutes! The sauce can also be used over zucchini noodles for a low carb / keto version.

6 oz / 180g salmon
1 Tbsp olive oil
8oz / 220 g tortellini, refrigerated
1/3 cup cream cheese
1 small tomato, chopped
1/2 zucchini, chopped
1/2 tsp dill, dried
2 Tbsp fresh chopped basil
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 Tbsp mozzarella

Steps:

  • Prepare your vegetables and cut the salmon in bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large pan, heat 1 Tbsp olive oil and add the salmon, dill and tomato. Add a tbsp of water and a pinch of salt, cover with a lid and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the cream cheese, black pepper and add a Tbsp of water (if needed - sometimes tomatoes aren't juicy enough!) to create a creamy sauce.
  • Stir in the tortellini pasta and cook in the sauce for 3-4 minutes or however long the package says.
  • Lastly, add the garlic, basil, zucchini and stir in the mozzarella cheese.
  • Serve immediately with Parmesan cheese on top (if desired!).

1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon dry white wine
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (1/2 lb) package fresh cheese tortellini
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
1/4 cup chopped green onion top
1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
2 tablespoons drained capers
4 ounces smoked salmon, cut into thin strips

Steps:

  • Whisk sour cream, oil, juice, Dijon, wine and pepper together.
  • Chill until ready to use.
  • Cook tortellini until al dente; drain.
  • Transfer to bowl.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of oil and toss to coat.
  • Add onion, onion tops, dill and capers; toss again.
  • Cool.
  • Add salmon and enough dressing to coat and toss well.
  • (can be made 8 hours ahead; cover and chill.).

1 pkg cream cheese, cubed (8 oz)
1/3 c milk
1/2 c chopped cucumber, seeded and drained
3 oz smoked salmon, cut into thin strips
2 Tbsp chopped fresh dill, or 1/2 tsp. dill weed (dried)
1 pkg frozen cheese tortellini, cooked and drained
chopped parsley or green onions, if desired.

Steps:

  • 1. Cook tortellini per package instructions; drain. Meanwhile, stir cream cheese and milk in medium saucepan on low heat until smooth. Add cucumbers, salmon and dill; heat thoroughly.
  • 2. Toss with hot tortellini. Garnish with parsley or chopped green onion, if desired.

A dish with a helpful shortcut, and easy too! Serve this yummy dish with a fresh green salad and some crunchy bread to scoop up the "homemade" sauce. The fish, pasta and sauce all finished at the same time and I literally spent 30 minutes from start to finish to make this meal as the prep time overlaps with the cooking time.

12 ounces cheese tortellini
1 1/4 cups alfredo sauce (low fat is OK)
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon olive oil
4 ounces salmon fillets, skinless
salt and pepper
1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated (low fat is OK)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Boil salted water in a large pot. Add pasta when water is boiling and cook until just done, about 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, pour alfredo sauce in a medium saucepan and heat to medium. Add dill and green onions and salt and pepper to taste; let heat through but do NOT boil.
  • In small frying pan, heat olive oil and add fish. Cook through, approximately 3 minutes on each side. Cut up and salt and pepper to taste.
  • When tortellini is done, add to sauce in saucepan. Gently stir in salmon. Add half the mozzarella. Pour into casserole dish sprayed with nonstick spray and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

400g (about 2 large) potato , cut into thick slices
small bunch dill
6 eggs
2 tbsp mascarpone or full-fat cheese
1 tbsp sunflower oil
100g frozen pea
125g pack smoked salmon , thickly sliced

Steps:

  • Boil the potato slices for about 10 mins until just tender, then drain. Roughly chop the leaves from the dill, then beat into the eggs, along with 1 tbsp mascarpone or soft cheese. Season to taste.
  • Heat the oil in a small frying pan - around 20cm across is ideal - then add the cooked potatoes, frozen peas and the egg mixture. Leave to set on a low heat for about 7 mins, pushing the mix around the pan every so often so it cooks evenly. Heat grill to high.
  • Once the tortilla is firm underneath, but still a little wobbly on top, drape the salmon over the top and dot with the remaining cheese. Season with black pepper, then flash under the grill until just set. Serve with a green salad.

1 cup edamame or sugar snap peas, shelled
Sauce:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup grated mozerella cheese
1/4 dry white wine
1 tbsp sun dried tomatoes, pureed
garlic oil to taste
1 tbsp dried dill (optional)
pepper to taste
1 pkg tortellini
salted water

Steps:

  • Preparation time: 20 minutes (less time if you purchase grated cheese) Cooking time: 15 minutes Flake the salmon and set aside in a large mixing bowl. In a 1 quart sauce pan, melt the butter over medium low heat, add milk, wine, tomatoes, dill, garlic oil and pepper. Stir constantly until the cheese is melted and some of the liquid is evaporated. The consistancy should be creamy (about 10 minutes). In the mean time, in a 2 quart sauce pan, bring 8 cups of salted water to boil and add tortellini. Cook according to package instructions until adente. During the last 1 minute of cooking time, add the edamame peas. When it is done cooking, remove from heat and allow to sit in the hot water for 2 minutes and then drain well. Combine the sauce with the tortellini and salmon and toss gently.
