i made this up when i wanted something that kids would like as well as adults. you can also add shredded cheese(over the top) at the last few minutes of baking.

2 lbs ground beef
1 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
2 eggs (beaten)
1 can Manwich sloppy joe mix
1 large yellow onion (minced)

Steps:

  • in a large bowl combine all ingredients-do not over work the mixture as you will have a tough meatloaf.
  • shape into a loaf and put in a deep baking dish.
  • put in a preheated 350 degree oven on middle rack for 60-90 minutes.
  • the center of the meat should reach 160 degrees on a meat thermometer.

1/2 cup Egg Beaters® Original
1/2 cup dry unseasoned bread crumbs or 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1-1/2 pounds ground round beef (85% lean) utm_source=outbrain&utm_medium=outbrain&utm_campaign=outbrain#sthash.scMDVKwx.dpuf

Steps:

  • Directions Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside 3/4 cup Sloppy Joe sauce. Mix remaining Sloppy Joe sauce, Egg Beaters, bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper in large bowl until well blended. Add beef; mix just until combined. Shape meat mixture into a 9x5-inch rectangle in baking dish, pressing together firmly and flattening top. Spoon reserved Sloppy Joe sauce over top of meat mixture. Bake 40 minutes or until cooked through (160°F). Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Cook's Tips To make 1 cup fresh bread crumbs, tear 2 slices firm bread into quarters and place in food processor. Pulse quickly to make crumbs. Bread, just beginning to dry out, works best. An easy beef (or turkey) meatloaf with the kicky flavor of a sloppy-joe sandwich. You may substitute ground turkey for ground beef.

1 small onion, minced
2 stalks celery, minced
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (1.3 ounce) envelope sloppy joe seasoning mix
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 pound ground beef
6 slices bacon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • In a bowl, mix together the onion, celery, tomato paste, sloppy joe mix, bread crumbs, and egg. Work in the ground beef lightly with your fingers until thoroughly combined. Shape the mixture into a loaf shape, and place on the prepared baking sheet. Lay bacon strips across the loaf crosswise, overlapping if necessary.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, then decrease temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake until the meat loaf is no longer pink inside and the juices run clear, about 30 more minutes. Use a bulb baster to remove accumulating grease several times during baking. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before slicing.

Steps:

  • Place meatloaf in fry pan, fry for 15 minutes or until broken down.
  • Add onions stirring often as not to burn Add 1 bottle favorite BBQ sauce. Stir all ingredients until hot.
  • Serve on buns or bread.

  • Add tomato sauce, flour, basil, oregano and fennel seed; mix well. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Meanwhile, remove dough from can; place on lightly floured surface. Cut loaf in half lengthwise. Roll each half to form 16x4-inch rectangle. Place 1 dough rectangle on sprayed cookie sheet, being careful not to change shape.
  • Stir 1/2 cup of the cheese into ground beef mixture. Spoon and spread mixture over dough rectangle on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining dough rectangle.
