Skor Trifle Food

EASY CHOCOLATE TRIFLE

Steps:

• Prepare cake batter and bake in 13x9-inch pan as directed on package. Cool completely.
• Beat pudding mixes and milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min.
• Cut cake into 1/2-inch cubes. Layer half each of the cake, pudding, COOL WHIP and chopped chocolate in trifle bowl. Repeat layers.

SKOR TRIFLE

Steps:

• Cut cake into bite size pieces and place 1/2 of pieces in the bottom of a large bowl.
• (Preferably a glass bowl to show off the layers) Place 1/2 of prepared pudding on top of cake layer, trying to keep it off the sides of the bowl.
• Add 2 crushed Skor bars on top of pudding layer.
• Place 1/2 tub of Cool Whip on top.
• Repeat layers ending with Cool Whip.
• Garnish with the remaining Skor bar.
• Refridgerate at least 1 hour before serving.

TOFFEE APPLE AND HONEY TRIFLE

Steps:

• Prepare the various layers of the trifle so they are all ready to assemble together.
• Slice the pound cakes down the middle length-wise, then slice each loaf into 10-12 slices, resulting in 20-24 cubes per loaf, a maximum of 48 cubes.
• Saute the apples in the butter until soft.
• Add the cinnamon and mix well to coat all the apple slices.
• In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the whipping cream, cream cheese, honey and vanilla pudding.
• Toss the Skor bits into the food processor and whirl until finely chopped.
• Now assemble the trifle in a large clear bowl with straight (ish) sides.
• This makes a large quantity so you may have up to three layers.
• First lay down a layer of cake cubes Then cover with the sauteed apples.
• Then cover with a generous layer of whipped cream.
• Then sprinkle with a layer of ground Skor bits.
• Repeat the layers until all the ingredients have been used up, ending in a layer of Skor bits.
• Note: I actually had more cake than necessary, so I had a layer of cake and cream in the middle before starting over with another layer of cake.

CHOCOLATE SKOR TRIFLE

Steps:

• Prepare Chocolate cake mix as directed on box and slice into chunks.
• While cake is cooking prepare chocolate pudding mix as directed on box.
• Layer in trifle bowl:
• 1/2 of the cake chunks (I don't use all the cake (doesn't all fit in my trifle bowl so I save more room for the really good stuff).
• 1/2 of the pudding.
• 1/2 of the whipped cream.
• 1/2 the crushed skor bars.
• Repeat and done. Can eaten immediately or can be make several hours ahead.
• For additional decoration sprinkle shaved chocolate on top.

Steps:

• Break up chocolate cake and add to the bottom of a 9X13 pan.
• Beat milk and chocolate pudding powder together until set.
• Then beat softened cream cheese and chocolate pudding together
• Spread cream cheese pudding mixture evenly over broken cake bits.
• Break up the Skor bars into small pieces(*I put the chocolate bars in a ziplock and hit them with a hammer to break them up)
• Sprinkle 6 broken/chopped Skor bars over pudding/cream cheese layer.
• Beat whipping cream to soft peaks and add white granulated sugar. Beat to stiff peaks.
• Spread whipped cream over Skor layer.

CHOCOLATE KAHLUA SKOR TRIFLE

Steps:

• Prepare vanilla pudding mix per box instructions adding Kahlua and refrigerate overnight.
• Perpare chocolate cake mix per box directions in 2 round cake pans.
• Cool and cut each round cake to create 4 rounds.
• Break candy bars into small bits.
• Trifle bowl:.
• Carefully lay one cake round on bottom of trifle dish.
• Spread thin layer of pudding over the cake.
• Spread even layer of whipped cream over the pudding.
• Layer Skor bits over the whipped cream.
• Repeat in that order for a total of 16 layers.
• Enjoy!
• (Keep in the fridge until your ready to dive in.).
