15 MINUTE SPICY SHRIMP AND SNAP PEAS STIR FRY

Steps:
- In a small bowl, mix together the shrimp, soy sauce, and cornstarch. In another small bowl, mix together the sambal oelek, rice vinegar, tomato paste, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water.
- In a frying pan, heat up the oil over medium high heat. When the oil is hot and shimmery, add the shrimp and cook, until pink and cooked through, flipping once.
- Stir in the garlic, and cook until fragrant, 30 seconds.
- Add the snap peas and green onions and cook, 1-2 minutes, or until tender crisp and bright green.
- Add the sauce and cook, stirring, until everything is coated and glossy. Enjoy immediately, on fluffy white rice.
SHRIMP STIR-FRY
This shrimp stir-fry recipe is simple and fast. It cooks in about 5 minutes, so be sure to prep all your ingredients and cook the rice in advance.

- Put the shrimp in a medium bowl with 2 cups cold water and 2 tablespoons kosher salt. Stir to combine and let sit for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse the shrimp under cold running water and place them on a paper towel-lined plate. Pat the shrimp with more paper towels to thoroughly dry.
- Combine the chicken stock, Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper and crushed red pepper in a medium bowl. Stir until the cornstarch is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
- Heat a wok or large nonstick skillet over high heat for 2 minutes. Add the oil to the pan and swirl to coat. Carefully add the shrimp in a single layer. Allow to cook for 2 minutes, using a wooden spoon or spatula to stir-fry them. Add the garlic, ginger and scallion whites and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the snow peas and bell pepper and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the cornstarch mixture and scallion greens and stir-fry until the sauce has thickened, about 15 seconds. Immediately transfer the stir-fry to a dish. Serve with rice.

- Make the marinade: combine all the marinade ingredients in a bowl; mix well.
- Add the shrimp; stir to coat evenly; let stand for 10 minutes.
- Put stir-fry pan over high heat until hot.
- Add in the oil; swirling to coat the sides.
- Add the onion and sugar snap peas; stir-fry until the peas are tender-crisp, about 2 minutes.
- Add in the shrimp; stir-fry until they turn pink, about 1 ½ minutes.
- Add in the broth and sesame oil; stir-fry until the broth boils and thickens slightly, about 20 seconds.
- Transfer to a serving plate and serve.
SHRIMP AND SNAPS STIR FRY
Steps:
- Combine marinade and boil to combine flavors. Set aside to cool. Pour the cooled marinade over the shrimp, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Toss tomato halves with fresh dill. Heat olive oil in a wok. Add shrimp to wok, stir fry for 2 minutes and remove to bowl. Cover to keep warm.
- Add carrot sticks to wok, and fry for 3 minutes. Add snap peas and fry for another 2 minutes. Return shrimp and tomatoes to wok and stir fry 1 minute. Serve over hot pasta.

- Prepare rice as label directs.
- Meanwhile, in nonstick 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add vegetables and cook, stirring constantly, until evenly coated with oil. Cover skillet and cook 3 to 4 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.

- Mix shrimp, 1 tablespoon oil, 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger, half of garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and crushed red pepper in medium bowl. Let stand 1 hour.
- Heat wok or large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add shrimp mixture; sauté until shrimp are just opaque in center, about 2 minutes. Transfer shrimp to bowl. I addapted this out of a children's cookbook. Everyone loved it so much that I have to make it once a week now, lol. You can just serve it with boil in the bag rice which is what the original recipe suggests.

Steps:
- combine shrimp, 2tbsp of the soy sauce and the garlic - stir with a wooden spoon until evenly coated and set aside for ten minutes.
- add vegetable oil to wok / large frypan and set over a medium-high heat.
- when oil is hot add red pepper and onion.
- cook stirring constantly until the pepper is slightly softened , about 3 minutes.
- at this point i added my straight to wok rice an heated through, if you are not doing this skip to the next step.
- add the snow peas and shrimp mixture.
- continue stirring and turning until shrimp turn pink and are cooked through ( i used allreay cooked shrimp) and the snow peas are tender but still crisp about 3 minutes more.
- remove from heat and add remaining tbsp of soy sauce, water and the pepper.
- serve imediately (on a bed of rice if you have not used straight to wok rice).

- Stir the lime juice, soy sauce and honey together in a small bowl until the honey is incorporated.

- Marinade: Dissolve corn starch in water. Mix in soy sauce, sugar, and oil. Stir shrimp in and let sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Sauce: Combine corn starch in water. Mix in sherry, sesame oil, soy sauce, and sugar.
