Semolina Cereal Portuguese Pappas Food

My mother inlaw makes this for my kids and they love it. It's nice to have on a chilly morning for breakfast to warm your tummy, or maybe as a little snack before bed.

Number Of Ingredients 5

Ingredients

1 1/2 c milk
8 Tbsp flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1/8 tsp salt
cinnamon

Steps:

1. -Mix milk, sugar, and salt into a sauce pan. -Bring to a boil. -SLOWLY sift flour in while continuously whisking vigorously to avoid clumping. -Mixture will thicken. Turn off heat and remove from stove top once the porridge is thick and creamy. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon. Serve while warm. Enjoy!

Simmer gently and stir frequently to prevent the porridge from developing lumps. until the semolina becomes tender with a porridge consistency.
Serve and top with some fruits then drizzle some honey over it or simply add any other sweetener of your choice.
