My sister made these sandwiches for our family reunion and my pickiest eater has told me they're her favorite food. The crackers really add a lot of butter flavor!

1 (3 pound) chicken - cooked, deboned and shredded
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
¼ (16 ounce) package buttery round crackers, crushed
12 hamburger buns

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine shredded chicken, condensed soup, poultry seasoning and crushed crackers. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture is hot, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve on buns.

50 ounces boneless chicken (I used "Sweet Sue's Boned Chicken", you could also use any brand's canned chicken)
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
10 -20 Ritz crackers
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Mix chicken, soup and seasonings.
  • Place in slow-cooker on low.
  • Slowly add in crushed crackers as moisture appears during cooking. Usually about a sleeve from the box of Ritz will do it, sometimes more - sometimes less.
  • Cook on low for 2 to 4 hours or until is set to your preference.
  • Serve on buns.

50 ounces boneless chicken
1 (6 ounce) package chicken flavor stuffing mix
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
chicken broth

Steps:

  • Empty can of chicken into large bowl or even crockpot container, do NOT drain.
  • Open stuffing and can of cream of chicken, mix with large spoon or use clean hands to break up meat and throughly mix ingredients.
  • Place in crockpot. Cook on medium for approx 2 hours or until warmed thru, stir as needed.
  • Add and stir in the chicken broth as needed if mixture becomes a little dry. If preparing to bake in oven, add extra broth prior to baking in a greased casserole at 350.

  • Place chicken in crock pot & fill half-way with water cook on high for 6 hours or until chicken is falling apart. Take out chicken & epmty out water leaving enough to cover the bottom about an inch. 5 (48 ounce) cans boneless chicken
6 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of celery soup (undiluted)
2 1/2 cups hot water
3 chicken bouillon cubes
1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
120 hamburger buns

Steps:

  • Open boned chicken and place in large roaster.
  • Stir chicken until all pieces appear to be shredded.
  • Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water and add to chicken.
  • Add remaining ingredient except hamburger buns.
  • Stir thoroughly.
  • Heat mixture up to 300 degrees.
  • Once mixture is heated through place 1/3 cup of mixture on hamburger bun and serve.

  • Shred chicken, and place in a large pot or slow cooker. Stir in soup and water. Stir in the seasoning mix from the stuffing, and then stir in the dry stuffing mix. Cook over medium heat until heated through. Spoon onto buns, and serve.
