Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 325° F.
- Mix the ingredients in the order listed and drop the dough by heaping tablespoons onto.
- cookie sheets that have been lined with parchment paper. Flatten each dough glob with.
- dampened fingers.
- Bake the cookies for 15-20 minutes until golden-brown (I haven't made these in a while -- that sounds like a long time for a cookie to bake -- try 10 minutes and check on them first). Cool them for 10 minutes on the cookie sheets, then transfer them to wire racks. When completely cool, store the cookies in an airtight container.
- They freeze well.

EVERYTHING COOKIES AKA MONSTER COOKIES
This cookie has a little bit of everything, except flour. It was a favorite of mine growing up and is still a hit at parties. The recipe in its original form makes a ton of cookies, so you may want to cut in half...

CRANBERRY CHOCOLATE OATMEAL MONSTER COOKIES
This is a great easy cookie recipe that kids love! I adapted it from a recipe I found in Family Fun magazine. You can substitute the Cranberries and Chocolate pieces for any toppings you like - nuts, M&M's, and other dried fruits - but I really like the combination of the dried cranberries and chocolate.

TORONTO STAR MONSTER COOKIES
This recipe was published in the Toronto Star newspaper about 20 years ago. A co-worker brought them to work and we all fell in love with them. I am posting this so that I never lose this recipe.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silpats.
- Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars together in mixer (about 3 minutes).
- In a large bowl, toss oats, cinnamon and baking soda together.
- Add eggs to butter & sugar mixture one at a time. Make sure the eggs are mixed in well. Add vanilla and salt. Mix to combine.
- Add the oat mixture to the bowl and then slowly add the "stuff" and mix until it is incorporated. No need to worry about over-mixing because there is no flour.
- Using a small ice cream scoop or spoon, scoop the cookie dough onto the lined baking sheets. Space them about two inches apart. Flatten the tops a bit with the bottom of a glass. Sprinkle with fleur de sel if you wish.
- Bake for 10 minutes - turning halfway through the baking time. Cool on a rack but sneak at least one while they are warm.

MONSTER COOKIES
These are very crisp, crunchy cookies that are full of chocolatey goodness. A big hit in our house. For this recipe I recommend weighing your oats, I found that when using a measuring cup I get way too many oats as opposed to using the weight on the carton. I also used a medium cookie scoop to measure out the cookies (probably 1/8th of a cup). Since it makes 66 cookies I recommend making some dough balls and freezing them until firm, then putting them in a freezer bag to bake at a later time. Then you can just pull out what you need and bake them. Prep time is an estimate.
