GARLIC PARMESAN MONKEY BREAD

- Grease a 10 inch Bundt pan or tube pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the green onion, parsley, garlic powder, salt, butter and eggs until well blended. Break the bread dough off in walnut-sized pieces, and dip each piece into the egg mixture.
- Place coated dough balls into the prepared pan. Once there is a layer of balls covering the bottom of the pan, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Repeat, sprinkling each layer with cheese until everything is in the pan. Cover loosely, and let rise until doubled in size, about 45 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 6-cup (9-inch) fluted tube cake pan or angel food (tube) cake pan with cooking spray.
- In large food-storage plastic bag, mix grated Parmesan, salt and pepper. Separate each can of dough into 8 biscuits; cut each into quarters. Place biscuit pieces in Parmesan mixture; shake well.
- Layer biscuit pieces and shredded cheese in pan.
- In small bowl, mix melted butter and garlic with whisk. Drizzle over biscuits and cheese in pan.
- Bake 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Place plate upside down over pan; turn plate and pan over. Remove pan. Serve warm.

- Separate biscuits; cut into quarters. Mix margarine, Parmesan and seasonings in medium bowl until blended. Add dough pieces; toss to evenly coat with cheese mixture.
- Place in 9-inch round pan sprayed with cooking spray; top with shredded cheese.
- Bake 20 to 25 min. or until golden brown. Cool 10 min. Remove bread from pan to wire rack; cool slightly.
- Heat pasta sauce as directed on label. Serve with the bread.

Really fast and easy! I always make this when I make Spaghetti and Meatballs. This is one of my Mom's "Shoe Box Recipes" so not sure where it is from.

Steps:
- In a medium bowl, combine butter and garlic powder with parsley; mix well. Separate biscuits and dip each into butter to coat.
- In tube pan, place on layer of dipped biscuits in bottom, slightly overlapping each biscuit. Arrange remaining biscuits in zip-zag fashion, some towards center and some towards outside edge of pan. Use all biscuits in as many layers as needed.
- Pour half of remaining butter over biscuits.
- Bake, uncovered, in 375 degree oven 15-20 minutes.
- Invert onto serving platter and pour remaining butter over bread. Serve warm.

- Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Rub in the cold butter. Pour in the milk and quickly stir into a sticky dough.
- Generously flour your work surface. Toss the dough in the flour (no kneading!) until it's not sticky anymore. Cut into 12 equal pieces and chill in the fridge.
- In the meantime, mix the dried herbs, garlic, salt and melted butter in a medium bowl. Add the grated parmesan to a second bowl.
