Learn how to cook Baby Bella Mushrooms in this quick and easy recipe. Sauteed mushrooms are divine, especially served with steak but can be eaten as a quick meal with a salad and breadsticks.

3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
8 ounces Baby Portobello Mushrooms (sliced, yields about 2 cups)
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup White Wine

Steps:

  • Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Swirl to distribute. Reduce heat.
  • Add sliced mushrooms to butter, stir to coat. Cover and cook on low 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Increase heat to medium
  • Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, Worcestershire and wine. Stir. Leave uncovered and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.

Canola oil, to coat pan
1 pint cremini mushrooms, stems trimmed, cut into sixths
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh thyme leaves
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Heat the canola oil into a saute pan and saute the mushrooms until soft. Add the fresh thyme leaves and season with salt and pepper.;

The key here is to not overpower the natural taste of the mushrooms. I'm not entirely sure if I have the amount of ingredients right. I usually start with some and add more til it tastes the way I like it.

We love mushrooms and this is a recipe that I use to have with steaks, chicken or pork chops. Its simple and easy to prepare and ready in no time. I looked to see if something alike this was already posted but didn't see anything.

1 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Slice mushrooms in half.
  • Heat a large frying pan on medium heat.
  • Add butter and let melt.
  • Add mushrooms and sauté well.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce and stir well.
  • Sauté 5-10 minutes.
  • Be sure not to over cook.
