This can be served as main dish or served over noodles or rice. I live on a lake and fishing is a big deal here, so I had to come up with many recipes to use fish. We have crappie, bream, and catfish.

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

6 crappie filets
lemon juice concentrate
lemon pepper
garlic powder
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 c grated cheddar cheese
paprika

Steps:

1. Line bottom of casserole dish with Crappie Filets (Can be cut into bitesize piceces)Sprinkle with lemon juice lemon pepper seasoning, and garlic salt.
2. Pour Cream of Mushroom soup evenly on filets. Top with grated Cheddar cheese. Sprinkle paprika on top.
3. Bake in a preheated oven @ 325 degrees for approximately 25 minutes.

Ingredients

1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 -1 1/2 lb of firm white fish fillet (halibut, or ling cod work well)
salt
pepper
1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced and seperated into rings
1 -1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter and blend in the lemon juice and sour cream.
Salt and pepper the fish to taste and place in a casserole dish.
Spread the onion rings evenly on top.
Pour the sour cream mixture over fish, spread evenly and top with the cheese.
Bake for 35 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork.
